Yea thats about right just Hughes out for Richo, 5 possies last week backed up by 2 this week isn't all that flash!

Agreed. I found McGuane to be shit today as well, especially in the last quarter. So maybe him out too. Not sure who for though. Are Coburg playing this weekend?

Tomorrow at Willy. Actually didn't mind McGuane today. Gives the side more flexibility with him playing because it allows us to push Schulz forward if needed and can also allow Moore to be freed up as well if things are going well.

Yeah that's the reason I wasn't thinking we necessarily should drop him. Especially with Brown and Bradshaw, having 3 talls (excluding Schulz) who can rotate through them depending on how things are going is much better than 2.

did you spend the first 3q on the p_iss he was bloody great today..like how the boy throws his body on the line....no knock on him thats for sure...Hughes will have a spell, looks to me he may be struggling with life ...Richo said on BTG he was right for next week:thumbsu:

I reckon he is still struggling to deal with Polak being hit by a tram, still in therapy or something
I shouted at him all day "It's okay Cleve...he's going to be okay"...."he's going to make a full recovery":p

First half he was good, like the rest of the defence, but second half, especially in the last, every touch seemed to result in a turnover.

I thought Mcguane was killing Lucas and then TW put Bowden on him and he kicked 3 goals.

Hughes out for Richo is the only one i would like. I live Cleve but and i hope he comes back after a week at coburg.

I would love Connors to play but there isnt really anyone i would drop for him.

In: Richo

Out: Hughes/Schultz

Hughes did abosultly nothing today except kick that important goal, but with Richo in the team it means rather then getting 1st defender he would be more likely to get the 2nd or 3rd. This means he would line up against someone like Patful or Roe next week. As for Schultz, he also didn't really do alot today. However, he does give much more run through the backline and can play forward or back.

Why are people suggesting dropping McGuane!? He was terrific today i thought, gives 110%!
Out: Hughes, Tambling
In: Richo, Coughlan:)

hughes out for richo - also think that one of either connors or king needs to come in - probably need a little more toughness around the contests - brisbane have a lot more aggression in that department than essendon do - it will be a battle of contested ball and braking away runs IMO

You kidding? He was great today and is just the sort of bloke we need for the Lions at the Dome.

Maybe rest Cotchin for Connors?

I know what you're getting at - he's getting bashed up pretty badly out there and he made a couple of real clangers in the second half. But I think he'll benefit much more in the long run from the games he's getting into him now.

As long as he gets a good run through of today's video through the week, he should sort out some of his decision-making errors.

Hughes out for Richo is one you could stake you're house on.

I'm guessing they will rest Cotchin for the game against Geelong week after next. (Connors, Jackson or King to comeback.) Hughes needs a rest. Schultz's spot is starting to look safe now that Polly's not available.

Schulz aint going anywhere. The only change that will be made.

In: Richardson
Out: Hughes

Tambling wont get dropped, dunno why people always think he will, he's a good player and puts in each week

You ********. I watched a replay of the game today...he was very good. I don't know where I pulled that from, he was very good. A couple of mistakes in the last quarter and I seemed to cancel all the good things he had done previously.

It takes a big man to admit when he is wrong by calling himself a ********
You should be so proud :thumbsu: well done
