The whole idea of resting players does not sit well with me. I think that you have an obligation to the game to field as full strength team as possible
Freo are playing shenanigans and it will mess with form. I hope they straight sets again
Resting players is messing with form and routine . Kennedy has been looking fatigued and the elbow injury would be helped if we can somehow rest him though .
ahh, the glory!Would be glorious, topped only by us going on to win the flag, with a priddis brownlow just to rub it in a bit more!!!

ahh, the glory!
But lets not get too ahead of ourselves
although I do like to imagine what if......Going thé banana over a drop punt is hardly conserving energyWe were talking about this last night and it seemed as though there was a little bit of "bugger that, I'm not gonna risk getting injured".
Top 2 was near enough in the bag so I don't think they tried as hard as they would have if it was must win game to stay top 2.
LeCras, possibly our best set shot, going the banana from in front??? Really??![]()
yeah man, he was so tired that he could only kick 7 against dogs. you kidding me. They are professional athletes trained to play 26-27 games. who you kidding??Resting players is messing with form and routine . No it's not. If they're fit they play. Anyone is a chance of getting injured every time they go out there - you can't wrap them in cotton wool until the grand final. It's a hard call
Worried he could miss out on the coleman if he rests. I know it's an individula award, and it means nothing to the team, but he's been bloody good for us over quite a long time now, and probably could've won it a few times already, I reckon he deserves it. Cameron is very good, and could easily kick 11 or 12 against the Dees and pinch it from JK. Let him play the first half, kick 4 or 5, then sub him out if we're winning.
Coleman you're right means nothing
He's up by 11..
It doesn't mean absolutely nothing, otherwise it wouldn't exist. It would nice for JK to win it, and be recognised as the best forward of the comp for 2015. If for no other reason than for him to have something else to look back on after he retires. It could be the only thing he ever gets, why not let him play and kick a few and make sure he wins it??
Compared to premiership .....it's nothing ....even Brownlows mean nothing compared to flags
Ask Robert Harvey ......I'm of the belief we over glorify individual awards - there only one prize worth winning
My best memories are 92-94-06
Everything else ptfffff.......sorry we just so overplay individual awards

0% chance of rain on Saturday. Where do you get your weather from? With wet weather forecast for Saturday i think we could get away with giving JK a rest. Lecra & Hill are capable of playing tall and we still have Darling and could even bring in Lamb for a game.

Disappointing that AccuWeather is telling me opposite. If it rains I doubt there will be much of it during the game.
Too true.I agree, flags are what all players play for, and I'm sure JK would say exactly the same thing, but I'm sure he'd still look back on such an award in his later life, and be proud that he won it, as would any brownlow medalist.
Having said that though, if someone said Eagles will win the flag if JK rests this week, then by all means rest him, but nothing is guaranteed, so let him play and win the bloody coleman![]()
