I don't think you quite get it Roger.

I travel 3 times as much as Richmond do every year and I am tired all the time despite keeping myself fit.

They don't call it "Jetlag" for nothing. It is draining.
If I travel to the U.S. 10times a year I'm not going to find the trip as taxing as someone who does it for the first time.

God they are an arrogant bunch on their forum... please can we win!!!!

It doesn't take much for the Richmond Cult to 'froth up' and get all excited about........a couple of wins in a row!!:D

They know they need to invest as much emotion into the home and away season as they can.............because they know that they are as close to a sure bet to finish 9th as you can get.

At Tiger Land team success is celebrated in May and June each year. It's just one of those traditions they have.;):D:)

So Roger in which of the 10 trips to the US did you feel the freshest or most relaxed? Was it the last ,fifth or seventh?

Why are Tiger fans so obsessed with downplaying the impact of our travel?

Why are you lot so adamant its a disadvantage? Just pointing out the other side of it.

Don't be silly, he's a Richmond supporter... You need to dumb it down for these types.
Use Jollimont to Flinders Street station.

Trust me, these toothless bogans are too much of a scum to actually purchase a Myki card so to actually catch the train is a big thing.

Edit: Caution may bite.

Helps having their own airline.

I don't think you'll find any science to support the "more travel and less breaks are good for performance" theory.

It's common sense v ridiculousness.

They're elite athletes. If flying affects their performance then something at your club is seriously wrong.

It's a nothing excuse and I bet your players would cringe if reading what some of you have wrote.

You haven't talked to people involved in this area. 8 versus 6 days break can be a massive difference, there is a lot of work that goes into recovery and getting players up from game to game. West Coast are very fortunate they have a break coming up.

Having the playing arena a few thousand kilometers from the training facility does offer a few problems.

I'm all for opposition supporters coming onto our board for some intelligent discussion, emphasis on the word intelligent though please Richmond supporters.

Re you guys playing 2 key defenders vs 3 defenders at a guess I would expect you to stick with the two man set-up you've been running with. Doesn't disrupt your structure that way plus as Simpson says we don't play a traditional 3 tall set-up anyway. Vickery is really the only stay at home forward as Griffiths and Jack spend large quantities of time up the ground. Unless it's a centre clearance it's unlikely there will be any more than 2 of our big guys in forward 50 at any one time.

Think all things considered it's a game I'd be disappointed to lose, but certainly one that you guys are more than capable of winning on the day, and I think that sum's up pretty well where most Tiger fans thoughts are at this week. Hope the Gov gets up, good luck and hope both sides get through without injury.
