I've noticed that Julian Whiting chick was on seven news tonight. I remember she used to be on nine just recently. Was on nine network for quite a while.

Also that bloke from the ABC is now on channel nine. I swear one minute he was doing the news for ABC and the next day doing it for Nine.

I was going to open this in the media forum but realised only Queenslanders would know what I'm on about.

What's with the constant changing? Where's the loyalty. I heard Webcke was offered twice the pay to go to nine but stayed with seven. Does anyone else remember who anyone who's changed networks?

John Schulter - Nine to Seven
Rod Pampling - ABC to Seven
Matthew White - Ten to Seven

Whiting got shafted by Nine. Was doing that Extra show @ 5.30 but they bumped her for Heather Foord so she walked. Schluter was the same (mind you he knows dick all about weather). Most move because they grow stale in what they were doing or their old station takes them for granted or they're offered a better oppurtunity. Matty White moved years ago for the Olympics. TV is a cutthroat business and the execs are a bunch of fickle arseholes - they'll show you no loyalty so they should expect none.

Rod Pampling is a golfer btw.

FiFi Box seems to know alot about the weather.

I wonder why all these weather heads out there spend years doing other things before they get their big break doing the weather.

Livinia Nixon, Steve Jacobs, that tall guy off nine, that Tim bloke off ten that drives me mad, Fifi Box................. the list could probably go on and on.:D

Fifi Box and Marty Sheargold were brilliant on weekday afternoons on Triple M until they got moved to Sydney morning radio. Goddamn that show was hilarious.

I totally agree! Triple M in the last few years have just shown "how not to run a radio station".

Rod Pampling earned

$1,702,952 in 2008
$1,475,970 in 2007
$2,664,673 in 2006
$1,613,815 in 2005

On the PGATOUR in the last four years - and he still has time to read the news. Geez!
