I'm getting there - cause I won't be there in R22 (I'll be interstate)

Have to see Benny play one last game.

I'm flying in from Auckland Saturday morning to have lunch with some Saints ferals at the Great Western Hotel, then watch us. Oh apparently I still have to vote.
Have organised a flight from Wellington via Sydney on the 29th just to see us go around for the last time in 2010. There's a big club season wrap up shindig in the Limelight Room for sponsors, coteries and all that jazz. I'm going to give that a fair shake. The time between seasons goes very slowly when you live overseas so what the heck! Will be relying heavily on the BF forum for all the news.
Go tiges and go Benny Boy!

I noticed it in the Guide yesterday too. Interesting.

Does anyone know what parking at Etihad is like? Not for this week, but for when we play Port - I have to do an airport drop beforehand and will hope to get back to Docklands for the start of the game...
Any chance of getting a park? Or should I just stop at a station & get on the train....

I generally buy a park online at Ticketmaster like I have for this week. About $30 but if you want a guaranteed spot its the only way and flying in and out on same day means it works for me

I park at DFO which is right next to Southern Cross station, always get a spot and its a very short walk.

I don't think it's LIVE. It's always like this - they show a half hour of pre-game stuff and then the game starts.

Which means yes, channel 10's coverage starts at 2pm but it's still delayed by 30 minutes.

nah mate they usual start at 3pm on saturdays

It's got a freakin roof.

yeah but there's no free parking and all, just too many factors going against it...if it was a Home game Id probably do it...But no Im still under a self imposed suspension as I look to 2011, trying a few new things like spending the afternoon at spotlight with the mrs:confused:

Sounds exciting. It's the second last game of the season.. plenty of time for doing what the mrs wants later in the year.

Plus there is plenty of free parking around, usually not much further away than the car parks where you have to pay. I (when not going with my mate who always wants to pay) have never paid for parking at (or near..) Etihad.
