ChatGPT found this for me:
  • Minimum Game Requirement: A player must have played in at least one VFL or AFL senior-grade home-and-away match during the season to be eligible for VFL Senior Grade finals.
  • Post–July 1 AFL Game Restriction: If an AFL-listed player has played an AFL game after July 1, they must have also played a minimum of six VFL Senior Grade matches during the season to qualify for VFL finals.
So, anyone who has played AFL since July 1 (such as Gibcus & Young) must have played 6 VFL games.

Sounds like Gibcus, Young, Hotton haven't played enough VFL.
MRJ, Trezise, Steely, maybe Sonsie could have played enough VFL?
Smilie played 0 AFL and at least 1 VFL so should be OK.
Gibcus has played 6 vfl games

Over 6 VFL games for us who are not terminally injured:

Koschitzke, Blight, Hayes-Brown, Alger, Fawcett, Smith, Trezise*, Rioli*, Gray, Gibcus, Young, Sonsie*.

Players who have played <6 VFL games but did not play an AFL game after July 1:

McAuliffe, Ryan, Lefau, Smillie

Others: Tom McCarthy? - won't happen, but would be eligible based on games played.

* Trezise, Rioli and Sonsie are probably disqualified due to playing over 12 AFL matches in 2025.

Interesting interview with Batch there proves they build Tiger kids tough. Watch in the background from about 30 seconds in the Batchelor interview. Little bloke runs past the ball and crashes the body of a player 8 times his size. Then cops several Lynch punches to the head, worth a minimum of 5 weeks each. Then finally shrugs off his assailant and wins the hard ball. Then around 2 minutes goes in again for another follow up possession and is ferociously kicked while prone. Batch doesn't even flinch because this is expected of Tiger kids even from the age of 3yo.
