Channel 7 SUCKS!

Channel 7, my frustration is coming out watching a blowout game, how they can play a top v bottom game with an average attendance LIVE, but not the top of the ladder clash which is completely sold out!!

I know it's the opening ceremony for the Olympics but Channel 7 can never claim themselves to be the 'Home Of Footy' with there poor performances ever since the reigns have come back to them. I know the Hawthorn game was a couple weeks ago but it's the principle of the act they have done, which really annoys me.

Its all about one thing mate $$, which come from advertisers. They want people to continue to watch C7 after the footy, they don't want them to turn off! Mind you this game alot would have turned off!
I also don't think it is C7 fault that they don't show live footy in Melb, I believe the AFL set that agenda..trying to boost crowds.

I am not saying show live footy every Friday night, but when the game is sold out and they can't 'BOOST' the crowd then it should be changed to a live game straight away as their are a lot of fans who miss out on the game because there are no tickets still available.
What they did to Hawthorn and Geelong supporters and also fans of the game itself by not showing the game live is a disgrace and to show this game tonight which is pretty much a 'who cares' game as it is top v bottom game.

Agreed the other week it was convenient that they couldnt shift programs around to show the match live but to screen the olympics and the football something was obviously shifted this week.

Joke to football, but they again 7 always have been.

know what you mean! thats why i really want channel 10 to have the friday night games! i understand that they can't all be live but i'm in perth and have to wait till 8.30 to watch a game that was finnished before i even start watching it! and i have to stay up till 11 to finnish it! so they should put them on at like 6.30 or 7 whenever they start! they should move programs around if they want friday night games thats what they should have to do!

As with all companies, they have a duty to their shareholders to maximise profits. Obviously their current schedule does this.

Channel 7 will always put making money ahead of what the supports what. What's the average footy fan supposed to do? The only way to stop what channel 7 are doing, is buy Foxtel and not to watch channel 7. I'm not sure your avaerage support can afford this expense.

Don't be fooled into thinking that C7 give a toss about the Olympics either. This is the age of digital TV with 2 stations @ their disposal. ABC exploit it (with bugger all funding!) & to their credit C10 occasionally give it a bash.

They WILL balls up the GF. Mark my words. That extra ad will cost us seeing a goal, mark, bounce, ....something.

wtf did 7 do with the boomers last nite? edited beyond belief, then at halftime they went to the ridiculous "sport" of jumpin' horses - i gave up and went to bed knowing i would have to wait only for 'em to flash up the scores.

at least the football is on sbs tonite - uninterf**kenrupted!

what is even more bizarre is that today tonight did not get rested for 2 weeks whilst the olympics are on.

the boomers game on sunday was shizen coverage, only showed the 3rd quarter and then flashed to a final score. but it looks like i get to watch the redeem team in full against china.

and how stacked in talent is the spanish basketball team??

from what i gather, you have to be over 30, not awfully athletic and be able to throw a mini volleyball.

I wanted to do drive-by passed the channel 7 studios yesterday. You can't advertise showing the USA Basketball team and then show 5mins of the first three quarters and when the game is bascially over and all the big names are on the bench, show the rest of the game ... 7 can suck my ****.
