You only have to look at holding the ball and see how players have adapted and now tacklers are the ones taking the ball into their opponents and claiming holding the ball.

I have never wanted to slap someone more in my entire life. If only there were no mods

Whats tough? about playing behind and pushing your opponent out of the contest so there is no contest?.
In all sports contestants push the rules to the absolute limits. You only have to look at holding the ball and see how players have adapted and now tacklers are the ones taking the ball into their opponents and claiming holding the ball.
The only ones not adapting to the hands in the back rule are the dull witted dinosaurs

If you read my post you'd see I have no problem with a free being given if a player uses their hands to PUSH another player out of the contest. What I object to is that a player resting their hands on another player without preventing them from contesting a mark is still penalised. Arguing that players should adapt does not address whether the rule is appropriate. We could have a rule that a player must skip whenever they have the ball and they would adapt to it but it would not be appropriate for the game. One of the things most people love about footy is it's physicality and this rule is killing it!

I can't believe so many of you guys missed the mark, me and my friends went up with him and there was a beer shower for all in the AFL members :D

Yeah you could see it coming as the ball left the boot! Chapman was ready.

Hmm re-watching that I realised that he didn't make 40m distance with the kick!
Jonno always underkicks a little to try to improve his accuracy. Often just stabs at the ball. Gets him in trouble a fair bit, though. Seen him kick about head-height at the goal only for a man on the line to mark a few times. Deliberately weak kicks, that is.

Again nothing physical about holding your position with 2 hands planted firmly in your opponents back so he is not in the contest if anything it takes away from the physicality because there is no contest.
As for your skipping rule it may have some merit but I'd like to see it trialled maybe in pre-season cup next year first
