Would be just as dissapointed being in your position, coming last and not getting the benefit of the number 1 pick, I reckon the PP rule is a disgrace. No need to sink to Collingwood supporters level and have a go at us, I strongly believe Carlton weren't tanking however they should'nt get the number 1 pick as we didn't finish last.

Been watching the Tigers closely the 2nd half of the season and I think you guys are on the right track, some nice young talent not sure if theres a quality key position forward to replace Richo when he retires yet but who can replace him he's a gun one of my favourite players outside Carlton.

Anyways goodluck for next season I hope both teams get on a roll and have a big 80,000+ game at the MCG nextyear.

Anyway, SideshowFev - cheers for the post and good luck to the Blues next year. One would hope that with 3 #1 draft picks in 3 years you should be showing signs of improvement soon (either that or the #1 draft pick means bugger all).

Im actually pretty happy we didnt get the no.1 pick.

Even tho Kreuzer seems like a gun in the making its a very difficult thing to pick a ruckmen with a 1st rd pick let alone the no.1 pick. There will also be far more scrutiny on the no.1 pick compared to no.2. It completely takes the pressure of the club and the kid picked at no.2

honestly - just as happy with pick 2 than one - either of kruezer or cotchin i would be happy with.

our immediate ruck stocks arent as bad as many think - as long as simmo and patto are fit next year - both will make a good combination in ruck - we can afford to get a longer term project (much like hampson) in the draft this season

and i personally believe that greg miller has something up his sleeve to get us a ruckman during trade week or the PSD - so im happy with life

Collingwood were creaming themselves when they picked up Josh Fraser. He was supposedly the best invention since coca cola. We all know he's been a good average player and nothing else.
