Ahh, thanks, will definitely watch The Project tonight.

Are you working today? Hard enough to get going with daylight savings kicking in let alone up watching sports until late.
I don't mind soccer, prefer it to cricket-think my ex watching EVERY form of cricket ALL summer long got me over it. Thought it was over after the tests then the one day games, so nearly cried when he told me it was the T20 time.
Yeah working today, but not much has happened today which has made things easier.

Cricket being a year round sport will never end. T20 is a bastardisation of the sport.

I have been to one in Melbourne. Dare I say it but the people there looked classy in comparison. My friend and I were left alone to dance to daggy 80s and 90s music in Melbourne.
This one was an old folks' meat market.

So, did you have fun at the one you went to? Did you dance. :D
i have only ever been to one in scotland and that was scary enough (i was maybe just 28 at the time)...and no, brandon, doesnt, dance.

Tests-bearable, just!
ODI's-blah
T20-why do they bother:confused:
oh no, i agree with karen though not sure test is bearable...funny thing is i used to love cricket in my youth and was always out playing backyard cricket in 35 plus degree heat.

It can be what ever you want it to be.
Just don't talk trade shit or we'll get isis on your arse.
My mate showed me a clip from liveleak.com showing actual footage (unbeknown to me at the time) of the first prisoner being beheaded. It's still stuck in my head.

Sadly we know who is next, they preview their next victim at the end of the beheading of the current victim. Scum of the earth they are. I actually would condone an atomic bomb to be dropped where they are right now. The oxygen thieves don't deserve to live.

We used to play family cricket as kids. Was alright.
Was a different story when I'd go on picnics, beach etc with my ex-s family. We'd ALWAYS end up playing cricket for hours. They're a cricket mad family. I used to say I'd field then wander off and sit under a tree. If I had to bat, I'd go out first turn so I could go back to the tree. :D

Totally agree.

It's lucky I don't have those little firecrackers at my disposal cos I'd be sorely tempted to just carpet bomb my way across Europe and clean the place out.

The whole bloody place is nuts. Been fighting, killing and beheading each other for 1000's of years.

Mind you, I'd probably leave the poms alone. Beating up on them in anything sport is just way too much fun :p

Have you never hopped up on a bar / podium and danced?

There was a spanish bar in Fitzroy. Awesome bar to dance on. The bartenders served between your legs.

So I'm not the only one who thinks this, good to know:thumbsu:
I'm the same.
I like cricket more than footy.

But T-20 can get stuffed.
I'll watch bits of it here and there. But that's it.

A little bit over the 50 over game. The last one I stayed up to watch was the 410 (or so) game.

Yep. Cricket over football any day. Don't watch much ODI but I watch nearly every Bushies game out of state pride. In for a grandstand finish tonight:thumbsu:
