IIRC, VC has a 14 year old lab cross.Yeah. In most meaningful ways they become part of your family but, as you say, they'll still always be dogs. Hope it's nothing to worry about all the same. How old is your dog, by the way?
It's possible the lump is a fatty benign tumor vinum coupe . My lab had a lump growing on his stomach-of course my 1st thought was 'cancer'
, but was all good. Vet said they're fairly common in labs.
