Ended up seeing "The Hangover" - Was one of the funniest movies I have seen for a while, thanks solely to that Alan character. Would be even funnier with some spliff.

So many classic quotes from him. Wolfpack speech was hilarious. As was when he answered Doug's phone.

Anyone going to pillamid rock this year, rumour is pearl jam and blink 182 playing. I am assuming this is a load of shit though.
 
Yeah i guess i'll go to pillamid. eitnher that or sensations at the telstra dome. dunno yet. If Pearl jam are playing at pillamid, i.... they won't be.

lol at thinking hilltop hoods are one of the main acts. Ever heard of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Grizzly Bear or Major Lazer? 100x bigger than the ****in hilltop hoods. Passion Bit and Vampire Weekender also possible additions.
 
Yep heard of them but Hilltop hoods are more well known in australia. They will be playing at midnight on one of the nights so I think they are one of the main acts whether you like them or not. Think number 17 on JJJ all time 100 proves how popoluar they are.

That is just embarrassing. To think Hilltop Hoods are more well known than a band like the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs is a disgrace. It is a blight on this countries music industry. And to think out of all the songs ever made that they were voted the number 17 song and best AUstralian and hip-hop song ever by triple J. I knew there is a reason I no longer listen to JJJ. Way too commercial.
 
Thats your opinion mate but cant argue with there popularity. Just cos you like Yeah Yeah yeahs more doesnt make them better than hilltop hoods.

They are more well known cos they are Australian, they are different, and played on every radio station.

So that makes Hilltop Hoods the most popular Australian band of all time, highest Australians on the JJJ hottest 100.

Hey papa have you watched the third series of skins yet? I just downloaded the series last night. First episode was pretty good. Think I am going to like this series even more. Effie is still mind-blowingly hot and there are twins who are pretty hot too. Also the male characters seem pretty interesting too other than the flog who has took Sid's spot (hated Sid too). Will be hard to replace Tony though. One of my favourite characters ever. Oh yeah that annoying Pandora creature is a main character too now. She blows.
 
I effing love both Stonem children. I think I am going to wait until it comes onto television. unless you want to burn it onto a disc for me & mail it.

To add to your bolded list... Art Vs. Science, Yves Klein Blue and Liam Finn is a bad listen. Sneak you can't say that Hilltop Hoods are trash simply because they are not ur thing... If they were trash they would still be playing gigs at the traf pub on thursday nights rather than sold out show across Australia. Thats the best thing about festivals, you see what you wanna see and recover when you think rubbish is on...
 
Have seen Art vs Science. They were nothing special. I like Flippers and Hollywood but the rest of there set was pretty trash.
 
Just finished watching the third series of skins and I got to say I loved it. Thought it would be hard to connect with a new generation of characters, especially after having such a connection with the first generation, however I found it quite easy. There is so much character exploration left in each of the characters that I am not sure only one more series with this guys will be enough to fully explore them.

Oh and Kaya Scodelario who plays Effy is officially the hottest person on the planet.
