Bloke scored a whopping 125 this round and due to his form is looking to keep his spot for the rest of the year. He hasn't exactly been scoring badly this year either with scores of 42, 75, 82, 72, 125. If you were gonna take a risk on him it's probably to late. Thanks to his 125 he's up to 280k.

Just fishing for some other opinions on him. If he can break into Melbournes best 22 and keep his form for the rest of the year he may be an option next year.

Oh he's a defender as well.

Very interesting one i think and is a nice spot up. Don't think it's to late to pick him this year, 280k is still a fairly good price.

Be given time to develop and is really coming along nicely at the moment. He's produced scores of 82, 72 and 125 in the last three weeks after being dropped in round 5 (average of 93). Killed it in the VFL when he went back there, he was in the best 4 out of 6 matches with two best a field efforts. Got an average of 81% game time but would probably be up to about 85 - 90% over the past few weeks with is very decent and shows his scores can continue.

Melbourne are playing a much different style of game in the past few weeks, much more defensive minded, playing keepings off, not giving the ball up cheaply. This really helps the defenders in the Dees side and the plays that push back to help the defensive out, just look at the Dees players scores over the past 3 weeks. This style has worked successful so it should continue which will see the Dees player score great much more reguraly.

He is very very much a risk player as he is very unknown but there are a few positives in him that might sway people towards taking this risk. I for one like making DT more exciting by taking many risks and am considering him if Chad decides to go under the knife. Someone to keep in mind.

yeah i've been watching this guy play lately and i like his style (DT/SC wise of course). kind of a poor man's Josh Drummond with less injuries (so far). not a line-breaker with run but he racks up the possies in the defensive 50. from what i've seen he's a great kick too. i want him to stop scoring so well now so i can get him next year!

I'd give a thought to Whelan as well who's much cheaper

Yeh, true. If i decide to trade Myers, it will be for either Whelan (235k), C.A.Johnson (286k) or A.McPhee (306k). Keeping as much cash as possible is important for me because i have to upgrade Morton probably next week so players like Mackie, Bock, Bowden etc are out of the question. Unfortunately all the relatively good backman that are cheap at the moment i have (Milburn and Birchall).

96 this week against the Dockers, 81 in the first half i might add. Not to sure what happen in the second as i didn't watch the game but he must has got some attention because taking 9 marks and 18 touches to no marks and 7 touches really doesn't make sense. Anyone know why this happened?

The whole team was getting r*ped to be honest and he just could find the pill. Either that or he was off for a fair while, because i didn't see him on the ground much after 1/2 time (even though i was only watching on TV). But yes good pick up, i wish i had the balls to pick him up earlier on.

I think TOG was about normal, 82%? Might have spent most of the first half on the ground a not much of the second though. I was just shocked to see no marks in the second half after taking 9 in the first, very surprised he didn't get any attention. He must have just lost his bearing really badly because that's a fair drop off in form for a half of footy. Anyway hopefully it was just a one off and he can pull it together against the Roos and half a good 4 quarter performance.

Yes i jumped on his bandwagon last week, looking forward to watching how he goes about it against the roos this week

under-rated dreamteam player now. is arguably the 2nd best dreamteam now behind mackie. his form has been great.

well yeh fisher is probably better. but johnson averages 94 over the past 5, and 105 over the past 3.
