Was delisted by the MFC today, any clubs interested in taking him on as a DFA? He didn't have much impact onfield as his body continuously let him down (plus delivery into the F50 in his first couple of seasons was of 'questionable' quality), but had a positive impact off field as a mentor to developing players and driving a team first culture, and is widely acknowledged as a top bloke. I believe he could have a positive impact at a number of other clubs, possibly Freo (as a back up to Cam McCarthy) or North (though he might be a bit young for them). Thoughts?

He was servicable at his best, thing i noticed with him is he needed a lot of continuous football to find his best, if he got injured and missed a month it would take him at least another month to find form.

Been average to poor since the Pies. If he wanted 1 year on base wage, I'd consider it.

Hasn't had a decent run at it since he moved to the dees. Could prove handy to a club in need of key forward assistance. But doubt you'll get too many goals. Will get work rate and valuable experience.

To be fair, he was pretty bloody ordinary in his last 2 years with us, injuries and being made to play second ruck didn't help, i'd be very surprised if he got a gig on a main list, could be worth a rookie spot for a contending team though.

Im not sure I would agree with that ... But think he would make an excellent coach, might do wonders to assist your younger brigade to develop.

Charlie Curnow and Jack Silvagni are third talls. Harry McKay is yet to debut. That leaves Levi Casboult and Liam Jones. Would be a close run thing for 2017 at least.

Im with you all the way ... suppose it will come down to how many picks you are going to take into the draft and what BP assesses will be left around your late picks. If you do get him ... I can only speak highly of him, was always very vocal at training and worked very well with the young kids to assist in their development at the MFC.
