Wallace did not want him.

It either Wallace is gone anyway, or he gave in.

We've gone from 16th to 9th.
Melbourne might go from 16th to 9th in 2009. I doubt Dean Baileys having sleepless nights.
....and this proves what???? that Melbourne are better without Cameron as List Manager??? He was there for a good art of 12 years..

I thought he was in recruiting, not list manager. If he was there 12 years, you have to void the 1st 2 years cos blokes he just drafted just walked in the door so we can only judge him from 98 onwards. 6 FINAL SERIES IN 10 YEARS!!!
I'll take that!

As is the job of any recruiter they'd say it's their job to get the blokes in that will continually get you in finals and challenging for a flag.

Te last time they seriously challenged for flag was 2000, Thats when alot of players where already at the club before Cameron arrived, and the bombers took care of that, since then they have slowly deteriorated wouldn't you agree?

6th, 7th, 8th & 5th in '02, '04, '05 & '06 but lets just forget that for the sake of your argument! I'll take a recruiter who's continually getting you in the 8!
In those same years Geelong finished - 9th, 4th, 5th and 10th.
But stuff it, lets get Doug Vickers back!!!!!

So lets forget 99' 14th 01' 11th 03' 14th 07 14th and this year 16th..... LOTS of first rounders in those years to add that strong finals side.... you have to be kidding if you think Melbourne were a serious finals threat.

You have no clue

So you said he'd been there 12 years! He was at Punt Rd in '07 so lets go 1995 onwards.
Simple maths. The average draft age is 18.
Melbourne had 13 blokes 23 or under. He clearly didn't get Anthony Ingerson or Steven Febey (who were 30+). That accounts for 15 of the 22.
He must have been doing something right!
