Belnakor, I think you'll find he's out of contract at the end of this year. He's going to need to show he wants it, or he'll be heading back to Victoria.

One of my expectations with a change of coach and regime is that all players, especially ones coming out of contract, feel the need to show they want to be on the list and in the mix for selection each week. If Harvey can achieve that then it will be a significant change for the club. One thing that he may need to do to achieve that is make an example of a player, but hopefully he can get the same effect through other means such as team selection.

I can see why the trade was done at the time - we had deluded ourselves after 2006 that we were only a couple of kicks from winning a premiership. We now know that was false, and hence the Tarrant trade isn't looking so good - and Tarrants form is not improving.

Can't disagree with you there at all Belnakor.

i like Taz and yeh he does have good days and bad days, but he is a good player, last year he did have the calf surjury and then went straight into training, so you can understand why he wasn't at his best last year..

where this year lets just hope he does alot better, but with last week, it was his old team and old teams do tend to roughin' the leavers up..

hopefully he's good for us this year :thumbsu:
