The highlight of a highlight packed game was the emotion Tazza showed when he kicked his two goals. I am not ashamed to say that tears were rolling down my cheeks. It was so symbolic of the change in Tazz. It seems he has realized how blessed he is to pull on the black and white. Hopefully every player feels the same. Sensational Tazza!

Tazza's jumper grabbing

Like Medders in the '07 PF and Dutchy Rd 2 '02, an ex-freo player has grabbed their Pies jumper and screamed, "farrrk off, freo, I'm home."

Love it, Taz. You've said and done all the right things to re-endear yourself to faithful since you came back to the club. Love the passion. Love the man.

After he kicked the second goal, Taz grabbed his jumper and showed it with pride, one of the more emotional moments I have seen, at least so far this season.

He then ran to the bench, and received a standing ovation from those in the area, and a sitting ovation:p from the rest of the Pies fans in the ground.

Great moment, won't be forgotten quickly, and it's become quite clear, if there is one reason alone why we should win back to back (among various other reasons), it's Chris Tarrant, he still bleeds black and white, and he deserves to wear a premiership medallion over the top of a Collingwood jumper.:)

I liked it.
Not generally a fan of that type of thing, like Goddards chest thumping or Brad Greens meaningless jumper grab.

He has mutured and changed so much as a person, when he was with us at the start, he was lazy and he didnt fully understand what Collingwood had done for his life by drafting him. he just took it for granted but now as he has matured he has understood what Collingwood did for his life and how hard they worked with him and all the chances he has been given. The bloke is a champion and his jumper grabbing was my highlight of the game.

Loved his game today.

The moment today when he went off the ground after kicking those goals and got that rapturous round of applause was just magnificent.

That would be an absolute fairytale. Would make a premiership 100 times more valuable.

I loved it when we dumped him, he was just not there anymore. Now that he is back, easily becoming one of my favourites. Have to say, between Tarrant/Jolly/Ball I have a lot to love!

So you only like it when it is a Collingwood player?

Strange that.

Well, maybe not so strange. Just strange that you felt the need to tell people

Didn't mind Goddard's, big game, big moment and seeming massive momentum for the 'Aints. Bard Green's was pointless, just made him look like a bigger tool than he normally does.

I loved Taz's today, great to see the bloke back in the Black and White and giving us a blast from the past and kicking a few goals. Let's hope for more of it!

No, they were 2 other examples that came to mind.

Agree.
In fact, I'm not sure why people would air their opinion at all, maybe we should shut down internet forums right now.

I don't know how anyone could take a pot shot at Goddard's but then say how much they liked Tarrant's.

One club player carrying his team to the lead in a grand final come back saluting the jumper is probably a little more meaningful than a guy who returns to a club after being shown the door for not giving a ...., after having once also walked out of the club because he wasn't sure if he wanted to get paid hundreds of thousands to work out and play games, doing it in a virtually meaningless game he didn't star in at the start of the season.

That said, love having him back, and loved the passion. But to compare the moment, the player, or the context to Goddard's in a favourable light is a joke.

Agree, it's inspiring. It's just the fact he does it too often.

As for Taz's I agree with your summation.

Well that would be silly. Not sure who was suggesting that. It was just my opinion that it was a strange one to feel the need to share. Isn't that what forums are about also? By your logic it would perhaps be more fitting to instead remove the quote function?
