Was highlighted after the game pal. He has form. Actually stopped trying he was sooking that much in a game earlier this season. I'm sure his coaches are all over it.
So you'd rather highlight the negative of a kid who has played about 5 games than actually acknowledge that the positive outweighs the negative? St Kilda supporters are just so bitter!

Really? I thought the dees did really well to go with collingwood when they significantly upped their pressure
We did play extremely well when pushed. Don't worry about your St Kilda mate he has no idea. A few years back we would have capitulated. We held them off in the third and lifted in the final term to win by 8 goals. I am stoked with that.

Most melbourne supporters are aware of our place
The finals talk early was exciting because everyone's allowed to dream
But we would have to play alot better than the first half of the season to make it
We are a 12th- 10th side
This is exactly what we are. We can beat up on teams below us, break even with teams above us to a degree, but we go missing against good sides who have been winning for a long time.

How are saints supporters bitter about Melbourne? With all due respect I doubt you could find anyone who would be bitter about the Dee's.

In the first quarter Melbourne players were short stepping when pressured. They did it too early in the third when Collingwood upped their pressure.

The only difference between the first and the third was Collingwood couldn't convert. They butchered the ball badly during both but it was worse in the third, not helped by some piss-weak efforts by their forwards.

Ultimately though you win if you can outlast your opposition. Melbourne did that so credit to them.

Thanks mate. Good for us you've given us a tick of approval as a harsh critic. As a Saints fan, that means a lot.

OK m8

Came to have a discussion about Petracca only to find a bunch of Saint's supporters crying all over the thread. Is it possible to ban an entire supporter base from a thread? Yep McCartin is good now go jerk over him on the Saints board.

I just want to say that Melbourne is building a very, very good list. Petracca is the tough X factor player you need in the middle, Brayshaw, Viney, Hogan et al are great picks, but more importantly they are continued to be developed, where perhaps the picks Melbourne took in the past while good were just not developed.

In terms of other clubs petulantly demanding attention, win a couple more games and threaten for finals like Melbourne has and your turn will come.

The thing that always sticks out to me about him is something my missus told me about him at casey.
Was on limited game time early in the year there, and there was a game that was fairly close (can't remember which game exactly, early in the season). Trac came off in the last with the game still on the line, got told that he was done for the day because he'd played his allocated minutes. He spent the next two minutes debating with them about how the minutes should be forgotten, the game was on the line, and no team should go down one rotation because they want to put him in cotton wool. He was chomping to get back out there.

Could go 9th, I see WCE dropping a bit without Naitanui.

In a sense we almost need to reset our season now. We've established where we are - from here on in # wins v WCE, Sydney, Adelaide, Port, Hawthorn should be our barometer. At least two at minimum. Finals don't matter. Need to at least challenge Geelong at Skilled and win all other games, esp. v St Kilda.

Maybe message the OP and tell him not to mention him then.
There was no reason to mention Paddy if all he wanted to do was talk about Petracca, but he obviously wanted people to bite so put it in there.

Yeah I bet you've never ever mentioned jack watts in a thread relating to draft picks or anything

Trac reminds me of Dustin Martin and for a while I've watched the Tigers jealously to see what Dusty can do, Trac is so skilled and after 11 games he will get better, takes the pressure off the likes of Hogan and Watts for game breakers. I'm pretty sure I heard he was a Dees supporter I could be wrong.
