Think you have the max allowed by the base game. Haven't delved into the mods yet but there should be one to let you unlock 5x5 tiles.I'm having problems with the frequency of trains banking up no matter how many lines I have in place it all leads to the one line outside the city limits. Speaking of which the game won't let me unlock anymore sections either, how many section does the game allow you to buy? Do I have to keep continuing building my population and adding monuments and the game then opens up more section? I have a population of about 150k btw.

Brand new expansion out today for 10$. Will drop the cash when I get more of a chance to play but you do get stuff for free regardless like the day/night cycle so patched it for a look. When did city lighting come into it? Haven't played for a while...

Only had maybe 2 crashes myself.Ooooh lovely.
Loved the game but two main things really annoyed me:
1) Trains from out of town would flood my system and make it 100% congested
2) Would crash a fair bit, although with 5 minute rolling autosaves this never hurt TOO much

Do you have sliplanes for trains not stopping at a particular station to allow them to bypass? I only have one line that links in/out currently but don't suffer too badly. One passenger station and two cargo.
Try turning down the budget allocation to trains then, should mean less services. If lots of them are only partially full up anyway it might help.I do have sliplanes, although they are way harder to make than they should be.
The issue is with trains coming from out of town. The track will be literally bumper to bumper all the way until across the map. I have to disconnect my local railway network from the foreign grid to clear things up.
Lovely.
Just picked this up today after seeing a few YouTubes on it. Given the amount of time that i sent down the drain on Prison Architect I assume that's me done for a few 8 hour shifts this week.Got a big arse hydro damn sitting on the river down below that other screenshot. 1120 MW
