Clangers in Bombers v/s Crows match

It was blatant to almost everyone that Essendon let Adelaide nearly steal the match by panicking.

1) When the ball was going into our fwd line the ball was kicked in haste by Bomber players who were NOT under any pressure ,letting the Crows to have easy access to the ball .I counted 9 turnovers that our players let happen by panicking and kicking the ball without THINKING of what to do with it . HOLD the ball and draw a man if no fwd is open DONT kick in haste causing turnovers .While our player is holding the ball the fwds must RELEASE the ball and chain on their legs and RUN into space so the ball can be delivered to them.

2) When you are being tackled and the only thing you can do is handball the ball away, DONT handball the ball into the air causing turnovers .Handball the ball INTO the GROUND which forces the opposition to bend and collect the ball ( which is delaying them easy access to it ).This allows you also to go after the ball .If you handball it into the air the opposition swoop onto it and its gone in a flash . Remember you dont have to handball it hard causing it to go metres away from you .As long as you hand ball it, IE : 5cm away from you ,,you have disposed of the ball and you wont get done for holding the ball.

I know what you mean, but the forward was usually very crowded, and the longer the players waited to get it in there, the more crowded it became, But your point about rushing the kick is very true.
