I am surprised they were there at all. My husband had a chat with Steve Rosich (marketing manager) recently, and said to him, "now tell me, Freo are never going to get those ridiculous clacker-sticks are we?". Rosich rolled his eyes and said, "I hate the damn things. As long as I'm here they will not make an appearance. Leave them to the eagles..." (had to laugh at that part, considering where he came from).
Then he said that Subi Oval had banned them from being handed out inside the ground, but that no-one could be stopped from handing them out outside the ground.

Someone needs to let the Peters-Brownes mob know that they are not welcome by the majority of Freo supporters.

Promoting them is one thing, shamelessly devaluing our own club's brand by replacing it with the brand of another entity is another. And we've managed to make healthy profits in the last couple of years by generally avoiding it (with a couple of exceptions). With another membership record, why go down the e-girls path of pasting over the club with logos?

On principle, I will not to go to Members Equity while the cheersquad are waving ME flags. If the absurd LG promotions continue, I won't buy them either.
