YES, YES, YES.........Could have been on the radar as far back as 2008 after the Schramm review.....that whole Crocs footy team reeks of" setup microscope to watch an insect."..he gets to design the webpage, run around in his undies, be involved in his favourite sport (even though he didn't play as a junior or young man which is normally a requisite for "masters teams ".)
A Macro Detective in the same team gets to socialise with pencil sharpener and the wife first hand...and lo and behold the wifes complaints about him get aired on the clubs newsletter......
Very Strange=if you read it in a book or saw it on a movie you wouldn't believe it..too far fetched....alleged serial killer and confessed brutal rapist a teammate of the copper assigned to catch him.....Hmmmmmmmmmm...
Stranger than fiction - and IMO the trial is more bizarre than anything that could have been imagined

rather odd JezzaPerth Countessa didn't "ignore" you when you referred to two ladies by their hair colour but isn't she doing the same when talking about a possible brain injury? Damn, she did rounds & rounds on ou over stereotyping women but Countessa does the exact same thing. Damn those people stereotyping serial killers:eek::p
WW I really enjoy reading your posts and glad you're on the forum. We're only trying to work out how the accused CSK thinks. I find brain complications most interesting and have two people in my family who suffer with severe problems. I've noticed it affects their judgement and long-term planning and then there's periods of psycosis, which is like the brain gets stuck in nightmare mode.

The subject is very interesting and these days more people are beginning to understand a lot more about the complications which some people suffer. We're more educated in that field, and interested to understand more. We'd like to work out a reasonable explanation.

What are your thoughts as to why SKs do what they do, because if it's an urge or a hobby it's an odd thing to do.

where do I start... it would depend on a lot of things. How the killer was treated as a child & brought up can damage someone enough to lash out at those they see as the person who treated them as a child. jeffrey dahmer was belittled & hated by his grandmother because she suspected he was gay. Note, not all who are gay or treated like crap because of their sexuality turn to murder. He was mutilating animals at a young age.

I've had to learn all about some parts of the brain due to my, & my alone's experience. Not everything is known about the entire brain still to this day. You can't just throw out there that someone killed because of a possible brain injury. That's a personal hit to me which pisses me off but do y0u see me out there killing & raping people every time I get pissed off? Which part of the brain does he have a possible brain injury in?. If you're trying to be funny about a SK doing it for a hobby, you're doing it wrong, it's not funny. So when someone throws it out there that BRE killed because he has a possible brain injury of course I'm going to get my backup because having a brain injury in no way excuses someone raping & killing 1 person let alone three. So if You're using me as some kind of joke or get a kick out of posing those things to me in a way that makes you feel like I'm beneath you, job well done but never ever assume someone with a brain injury/trauma must be a serial killer & rapist. If you see me as the joke, then I hope yougot the laugh you wanted out of me

No, I'm certain there wouldn't be anyone on here who considers any type of ailment, impairment or condition as humerous. From what I've realized, people who don't understand something become wary.

Anyway, shall we move on from the subject. Please feel free to PM me anytime. I have a few personal BRE stories that I reckons you'll find interesting.

If you really want a book title there is only one , you have to plagiarise William Shakespeare , but it has to be The Comedy Of Errors

Or the "Taming of the Shrew" (the cross dresser version).

Check out "Ed Kemper", he used to drink with the local cops and discuss the investigation with them. Even when he confessed they at first didn't believe him when he said that he was the Coed Killer.

Fact is often stranger than fiction...

that whole Crocs footy team

Remind me who introduced BRE to the Crocs footy masters team back in 2007.

Was it someone at Telstra?

Or did he just respond to an ad in the local paper, or some other players wanted promotion.

There's been no booths on either side of the road since 2007 according to streetview. I maintain I have seen a photo of a booth on the east side between Chatsworth and Stirling Highway.

Back in the first thread.
The blue line points to the comms pit, taken not long after Sarah went missing.

taking a few teammates out on a boat to catch crabs.

I can imagine the accused would have been a big WCE AFLW fan, had he been a free man this year.

They are starting to look into the investigation ... uh oh it's fabulous.

CLAREMONT KILLER TRIAL

The fax Telstra sent to WA Police suggested detectives had made a connection between the 1995 rape and the disappearance of the first two women a number of years prior to common fibre evidence being found which allegedly linked the crimes.

Detectives in 1996 requested Telstra provide a list of particular vehicles and their associated drivers.

Mr Edwards' name was not on that list as his vehicle allocation records showed he drove a van for the majority of the time between 1990 to 1993 and was then issued a Toyota Camry in 1994.

“Attached is the result of Telstra vehicle checks you requested last week,” the fax read.
“Sorry for the delay I seem to recall that you mentioned the vehicle you were looking for had a Telstra logo on the side, distinct from the Telecom logo and the witness was fairly definite about this.
"If this is the case then you should be aware that we only started putting Telstra logos on our vehicles from about July 1995.
"Also please note that the driver’s name we have recorded may not be correct as sometimes vehicles change hands or are borrowed etc."

Macro Taskforce sent a second request to Telstra in 1998 – after Sarah Spiers, Jane Rimmer and Ciara Glennon had been killed – following up an apparent line of inquiry involving "Telstra Camry sedans".
By this stage, detectives had also received at least two tip-offs in relation to the Claremont murders about women reporting a man in a Telstra vehicle offering them a lift home when they mistook his white station wagon for a taxi.

The police request asked for a list of all active Telstra vehicles from January 25 to 28, 1996, however Telstra in its response did not include the Toyota Camry Mr Edwards was assigned in early 1996 as it had by 1998 been leased to an external subsidiary of Telstra.

It's alleged Mr Edwards was assigned a Toyota Camry on January 27, 1996 - when he is accused of murdering Sarah Spiers.

During the time police were probing a Telstra employee as the potential killer, Mr Edwards had already been convicted of attacking a woman he didn’t know at Hollywood Hospital in 1990.
The attack occurred while Mr Edwards was at the hospital working in his role as a Telecom technician - he kept his job despite the conviction.
Mr Edwards has pleaded not guilty to the murders of Sarah Spiers, Jane Rimmer and Ciara Glennon.
The trial continues.

So can we assume the Telstra employees who WERE on the list had their DNA taken and their names are among the 17,000.

All they had to do was look at prior convictions / incidents in the area and/or who had to complete a sex offenders course. They had over twenty years to think of it.

Defies belief, surely there has to be much more to it - and Lance Williams wasn't identified as a suspect until 1998

Snipped for Brevity..

Could it be possible BRE was on secondment to the subsidiary of Telstra, thinking they mean an alliance. There were probably lots of occasions when BRE was seconded for various projects - a man with his expertise, and a father who probably encouraged him to apply for various opportunities. I suppose his father encouraged him.

I'm sure, back then, Telstra would have had has an alliance partner who managed the fleet side of the business. Perhaps they were asked to supply the list of who drove what vehicle, and it wasn't entirely correct.

When I worked within a government fleet service role (not Telstra) it was difficult to keep up with, rotating shifts, annual leave and employees who left etc, and I was never asked to update the fleet service company. The fleet service company often sent out reminders to the wrong employees, and although I made attempts to update them, the initial employees were still sent the reminders.

Also, if BRE was on secondment during the HH attack the subsidiary company's name may have been entered onto WAPOLs data base - instead of Telstra.

I hope we're told if the employees who were on the list Telstra handed to MACRO as having/access to vehicles had their DNA taken or not. If their names aren't among the 17,000, what might that say?

It would imply that telecom/telstra employees were never on the radar until his arrest.

17000 people is a lot of people, where did they all come from?

From Day 7

"The next witness to give evidence is Lynda Mary-Theresa Eldridge, a former Telstra business analyst specialist who was in IT and provided operational support.

She told the court she was working in the fleet management section at Telstra in the 1990s.

The court heard Telstra had a fleet management system called Fleet MIS that was built to manage the vehicles in 1988.

Ms Eldridge told the court that system was decommissioned in February 2015 and the years of data were transferred to a new company.

She told the court she had been asked to produce data on Telstra vehicles."
