NSW police allege three murders connected as man in hospital under police guard

  • In short: Three bodies were discovered at two Sydney locations on Tuesday.
  • Kwang Kyung Yoo, who runs a taekwondo studio, presented to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was arrested over the alleged murders.
  • What's next? Police expect to charge the 49-year-old with three counts of murder.
A 49-year-old man has been arrested over the alleged murders of three people in Western Sydney yesterday afternoon.

Police will allege they were subjected to an assault with "murderous intent" and died from their injuries.

Forensic police and homicide detectives have returned to two separate crime scenes in Western Sydney, where a husband, wife and their child were found dead.

Police sources have confirmed that a mother and her child, who were found dead in a taekwando studio yesterday were strangled, while her husband suffered fatal stab wounds.

Detectives are still searching for a motive.

A hideous set of circumstances.

A stupid Psycho.

Did he attack himself?

It appears that he's not even claiming that the stab wounds were from Mr Cho attacking him.

Unless he is claiming that Mr Cho fought with him in the carpark of a supermarket on Church Street in North Parramatta.

‘He seemed normal’: Neighbours describe alleged murderer Kwang Kyung Yoo

A martial arts instructor who allegedly killed a family of three is a married father with two children himself. He claimed to be a senior professor at Macquarie University, but the uni has ‘no record’ of that.

'“there is no record” of Kwang Kyung Yoo ever being employed at the university, and that the titles of Distinguished Senior Professor or Senior Professor “are not titles that we use.”'

'He told police he had been attacked in the carpark of a supermarket on Church Street in North Parramatta.'

Was the accused actually selected as a player for the 2000 Sydney Olympics?

Alternatively he assisted select something to do with the 2000 Olympics. Maybe just players for a TKD display?

Possibly complete BS.

Daily Tele has also now picked up on the Sydney Olympics accomplishments and the accused I posted about 6:01pm in here tonight.

And of course his currently studying for a Sports Science Phd at Uni of Sydney (which was in my 6:01pm post on here) is now also being called out as BS.

It gets worse, with a whole lot of his other listed accomplishments also being reported as fake.

The first wayback machine archive of some of his alleged fake accomplishments is in March 2020 as per the below link.

'Accused triple-killer Kwang Kyung Yoo is a fake uni professor and taekwondo athlete

The alleged killer of a man, woman and child in Sydney’s north west is a fake university professor who forged his academic qualifications and lied about his Olympic taekwondo accomplishments.

...
Kwang Kyung Yoo, 49, claimed he was an elite athlete who had competed at the 2000 Sydney Olympics
...
Yoo also claims on his website to be currently studying a PhD in sports science at the University of Sydney.
Sydney Uni has told The Daily Telegraph they have “no record of that individual being a student or graduate.”

On his martial arts studio website Yoo boasts he won silver in the 2004 Taekwondo World Cup, gold in the 2002 Martial Arts World Championships and gold in the 1995 Army Taekwondo Championship.

All three events don’t exist by those names and were not held in those years, and there is no record of Yoo winning a medal in any of them.

Australian Taekwondo also denied Yoo was ever selected by Australia in the 2000 Olympics, another claim he makes on his website.

Amazing how little press this is getting but the two gay guys getting murdered is front page news for weeks

It's not so much about the two victims being gay but that it was a police officer who killed them, the lead up to their murders in that he was stalking Baird for months, abusing his position as a police officer, he planned it well in advance, used his service weapon to kill them ... it goes on and on.

so bulk amounts of his claims are false. Does he hold any accreditations in tae kwan do? if hes ranked as high as he is then getting stabbed in a car park scuffle seems a bit unlikely. apparently he was the kids martial arts instructor too.

Going by the article he killed the mother and child first, then the father later on.

my guess is possible affair with the woman, she calls it off, he kills her in fit of rage, kills the child for who knows what reason (maybe a witness that can identify him?). then proceeds to meet up with the husband to tell him what happened and say now he can never have her back etc. Husband attacks him but comes off second best.
