I'm glad he's dead. He would have gotten maybe 25 years in prison for this and had plenty more time to have a "life'. Good riddance.

He was originally from the Netherlands. Didn't that one who killed that other teacher in a school in NSW (was on a weekend, she had gone in to do work before going on leave) was from that country too.
He suicide-ed because he murdered her. It was purely to escape from the consequences. If he's going to suicide anyway, he should have just done it
What's the purpose in taking her with him
You don't think it was pre meditated? He suicide-ed because he murdered her. It was purely to escape from the consequences.
Idk, I'm not inside his brain. You don't think it was pre meditated?
Well, if it was pre meditated, which it seems to be if he did it with a hammer in a bathroom, then he would have foreseen the consequencesIdk, I'm not inside his brain.
Thankfully.
Definitely agree on the cowardiceI'm talking about his thoughts afterwards. He's a coward 100%
He committed suicide hours after the murder (pre-meditated or otherwise) after calling the cops.
I struggle to believe a lockdown causes you to become a murderer almost two years after the world has opened up and you’ve been working, socialising, able to see family back home, dating etc.He spent 18 months alone in Australia during the Covid pandemic, before reuniting with his family in the Netherlands, according to The Daily Mail.
An unmanned source told the publication the 24-year-old may have been affected by this dark time, however, noted he is “not psychotic”.
Tis a real shame he didn't stay there.
Based on what has been reported by the Daily Mail in particular about him, it seems like the (alleged) murderer was probably used to getting his way through life and had no idea how to handle rejection.
The whole men v women thing.. I'm assuming he was a real "sweet" talker towards the ladies, while men offer him nothing so he could show his true colours towards them and therefore they saw the real him.Not as alarming as I expected.
IMO, to many Aussie blokes, many Dutch males would probably come across as a bit arrogant.
For those of you who have lived in The Netherlands, you'll probably know what I mean.

'... Facebook posts emerged that shed light on the alarming behaviour of Ms James's suspected killer Paul Thijssen when the Netherlands-born 24-year-old sought an Australian visa recently.
...
Facebook posts emerge showing Thijssen bragging about relentlessly hassling Australian authorities every single day for a working holiday visa.
In December 2021, the hockey coach, who is originally from the Netherlands, revealed he had successfully secured a visa in Australia after bombarding the Federal government with daily emails.
'Hi all, I just want to spread some good news,' he wrote in a group dedicated to foreigners living Down Under.
'I applied from Europe for my 2nd 417 WHV last Monday, and got it granted today.
'I emailed the working holiday department every day after I applied, and my guess is that maybe this might've actually helped.

Thijssen's parents are globetrotting business executives who, over recent years, have travelled back and forth between Australia and the Netherlands for work commitments.
...
A former student who went to school with Mr Thijssen told Daily Mail Australia that he was a talented hockey player who seemed competitive and confident.
'He was pretty passionate about the sport,' the student said.
'I didn't really speak to him off the field but I know people who had a really positive and really negative view of him.'
He said the majority of people with negative opinions were male, but 'some of the girls held him in a positive light'.
'I don't know what experiences people had with him that formed their opinion, but I know that when we'd talk about the training session or whatever people would either talk badly about him or talk him up.

Just another overly self-important f wit that couldn’t deal with rejection.
