Clash Jumper

I like the clash jumper that they are selling in the Swans Shop

Not too far off the old South Melbourne early Sydney Swans jumper whilst keeping the current style relevant.

This is something I think they have got right.

Not sure when we will need to use it but wouldn't mind seeing a few games in this with the white back and red number. (seems it is the Nab Cup jumper)

Will be buying one of these to add to the collection.

If they got rid of the little Swan bit at the bottom then I'd buy it. Just not digging the Swan outline. A bit too logo-ish.

it will be worn for all our pre-season games though

I dare say that if that jumper was worn in Melbourne games, it would go down an absolute treat.

It's heaps better than your normal jumper.

I definitely think we should start wearing the predominantly white strip more regularly. It just makes sense.

• The away supporters will like it (Old south Melbourne supporters).
• The AFL will like it (More merchandise sold and fits in with their 'away strip' agenda).
• A bit of variety (In case people get bored of the all red strip).
• It looks great (Confirmed by opposition supporters heaping praise on both the sash design and V design).
• It's best to start before the Gold Coast comes in to show that our football club are proactive.
• I'm not entirely sure if I've heard that much opposition to the move, therefore a majority of support.
• I'm just assuming people who support St George Illawarra can relate to such a design?

It's got me stumped why the Sydney Swans Football club have not already made this move.

Give the supporters what they want, for heavens sake. Make it happen SMFC.

Perfect world this is the same for me but I can at least appreciate this one for coming close and would support it to also maintain the modern history of the jumper. Stll wish they would put a faux collar on just a screen printed shape of a collar

Urgh I haven't said anything cos everyone seems to love it, but the nearly-all-white jumper looks so tacky to me. I'd be happy if they reversed the colours, but it's just so.... white.

The current Swans guernsey has always looked a bit weak to me. I like this design a lot.

I really dislike the design. For mine the two best clash strips were the 2009 sash and the 1996 vertical stripes (a-la Kangas)

Didn't really like the 09 one either for the same reason. Too much white.
