I told my kids that following Richmond was a good lesson in life. Life throws up adversities and our children tend to be protected from many of them. By following the tiges it helps them develop excellent coping mechanisms that will hold them in good stead once the real tough times roll in.

I had to come up with something good because they're getting old now themselves and are demanding answers!

Tell me about it! Im still waiting from the check from port Adelaide for Matt White. here is a bloke on our list for NINE years for 8 good games and he leaves for zero compensation when he had the first chance to actually prove why he tugged the jumper . Unfortunately the AFL gave us nothing due to Matts non productive talent in 8 and a half years and Matt gave us us the bird.

Nope. I was ready to go and buy one but thought to myself i'll wait to see if they would actually build or at least stagnate from last year before buying a membership. Glad to say common sense shined through and that money is in my bank account, and not in the hands of Shaun Grigg and Troy Chaplin.

Took my 4 yo boy to his first game. Thought that it was a good game to go
a) not raining
b) not cold
c) Tiges home game
d) fair chance of winning

i thought, if i can get him thru to half time, i'm doing well. 3/4 time, even better, full time, absolute bonus.
At half time, i was nearly ready to go home.
3 minutes before full time, he had just started munching on some carrot, and didn't want to move until he had finished. I had to listen to the bloody demons song twice. The only benefit was my 6 yo girl was complaining profusely how bad the song was, and it was giving her a headache.

I reckon we set up the reverse FTF (fed up tiger supporters fund) where we rattle the tin outside the players change rooms when they dish up a poor performance.
We could also wait outside the boardroom after their meetings.

My grandmother used to stand outside the gate leading onto the ground. If we played a shit game she would belt every player who under performed with her umbrella....... Players started to shit themselves after a loss, when they would see her standing at the gate waiting for them.

Might need to find a necromancer and stand her outside the RFC change rooms, maybe the wrath of Zombie Nan could shake them in to gear. I doubt it though.

Remember a few years ago that Journo wrote an opinion piece in the paper saying how she was going to stop her son follow Richmond because it was to devastating and he wasn't learning anything ect.. ??

Then the next day a richmond fan wrote a letter to the editor destroying her tell her life was not meant to be easy, you're teaching your kid to take the easy way out when life got tough, not teaching them loyalty, teaching them to be disrespectful and so on so forth.

Anyway i know this is a P!SS take but reading that letter was when i knew i would never be anything but a tiger (and one day my kids) no matter how bad things got.
