More likely to have an MRI than a Ct if it was a seizure.

You doubting the quality of the medical care Clarry received? Posting meme shit about Clarry is one thing, but posting shit about public health workers is crossing the line.

If anyone believes the narrative that he just slipped and fell over you are delusional.

It's obvious he has issues, but that those issues are leading to this kind of incident so soon after he supposedly committed to getting himself on the straight and narrow, would be worrying. You'd think he would have friends, family and the MFC keeping a close eye on him so soon after he's obviously gone off the rails but evidently that hasn't occurred.

Which, unfortunately, and also unfortunately I have had some experience with addiction, tends to mean that the addict is in the 'I can handle myself' phase where all the sensible voices around them are just bullies and know it alls who don't get it. Most drug counsellors will tell you that someone has to hit rock bottom before they seek to mend things, and a footballer seeing $50k/month - and the hangers on that kind of money brings - hit his bank account may have a much longer lead time than others.

No, I don’t want to discuss it…

I want to discuss the cover up, the lies, the policy.

While young children are wearing his number on their backs and putting posters on their walls, that goes for any player, then throw the book at them or get rid of the policy all together and we won’t talk about it…
Yes the poor children

We must think of those children

True

But he'd also have way more support from good folk than most ordinary people get

Seizure apparently, few embarrassing posts in here with this being the reason

It's clearly drug related in the context of your club talking about his "behaviour" standards merely a week ago... And moving him in to live with Gawn.

Not to mention the long mid season absence..

I mean come on. You're not that naive surely.

Astounding people can't see what's going on.

Questions will be asked about the 11 consecutive missed games this season...

No they won’t.

This guy plays for a safe and comfy Vic side. No journo will want to risk not getting a handshake from Big Gawny at the season launch next year - or risk running into an upset old boy at one of the MCGs private bars.

This will all just go away.

They haven’t even had to use the mental health card yet (admittedly, probably tomorrow).

Lol. How long was Benny & the rest of what was happening at the Eagles kept secret?

Years.

Slipped and fell isn't totally put of the realms of possibility.

Slipped and fell whilst sober...

Melbourne is getting off very lightly here - at least so far.

A lot of media space was given to Goodwin's denials of the drugs and gambling accusations in the recent legal case, and not much media investigation given to whether the issues are systemic.

I'm not going to necessarily claim Vicbias, but the media speculated on the Crows camp for two years, with crazy claims of players being almost sexually assaulted and ultimately it was just insensitive statements around people's relatives. The only crime really was the denials and cover-ups.

I'm not sure if the Vic journalists are keeping their distance or it's something thats still to come.

It's 2023. His manager, his club etc could come out and say what the issue is, he'd become a poste boy for the problem, and be set up for life outside of footy on the speaking tour

I was thinking the exact same thing.
Get out in front of it - the days of hiding in shame are long gone.
