Hey guys, what happened to Hughes? He played a few early on and looked a likely KP player, surprising u didn't stick with him and give him more games.

Hows he been doing in the 2's ?

Cheers.

He's been struggling quite a bit in the seniors to be honast.

He should be a very, very good player though.

His current problem is that he's still only a kid and built like a pretzel. He needs a bit more size about him if he's going to be a KPP.

Yes cleve has struggled a bit in the 2's but he is only very young and is still learning his trade. He will be a very good player, he is super quick on the lead and a great long kick for goal. You just have to look at what he did in the national champs last year to see just how good he can be.

not a suprise first year draftee, of course his going to struggle towards the end of the year, no big deal at all

He iss a bit soft, but he will learn. Hopefully when he bulks up a bit that will change.

really like the look of cleve. showed HEAPS of potential at the national championships! :)

he will b a star of the future...just needs a bit more confidence and bulk atm as he is still very young

dunno just looking at him on tele playing for coburg, when a bad kick goes over his head, doesnt do any second efforts and sometimes has bad body language i think. but he will be a star no doubt

fair enough. something for him to work on i guess.

sounds like someone else i know:p

Has a lot of talent. Is a very good lead, mark and kick but unfortunately is said to be on very good terms with himself. His negatives are a lack of second efforts and defensive efforts hence why he is being "educated" in the lower levels i.e. being played in the backline and the reserves.
FWIW I think he will be a very good player once he improves on these very fixable negatives.

What do you mean he is on good terms with himself.
He ain't cocky if thats what you mean.

How is he developing?

I thought he may have played on the weekend since he isn't injured and you drafted another forward in Kingsley. You were probably one tall short on the weekend and I don't know much about Hughes, but it's probably better to get game into young players with a future than someone like Kingsley.

Is Riewoldt close to getting a game?

Simmonds and Thursfield will come in in the next few weeks. Cleve is atleast a year away possibly longer, as is Riewoldt, but that should be expected really.
