Appartently Caroline Wilson was pumping up Bluey McKennas tyres on Footy Classified last night. We don't see that up here in Bris Vegas. Anybody see it?
That lines up a bit with my contacts info about the betting on the new Coach. I also hear that Sticks fancies Ratts, Swannie fancies McKenna, just don't know who is the Voss advocate. Big Dick maybe?![]()
I first noticed it during the Crows game. They were aadressing different groups.I'm not worthy. I wasn't aware that they'd mixed things up since the start of the year. Why did they do that?

Braddles and Ratts with the mids, Gav with the forwards, and Libba with the defenders.
Not sure if they swap at training though.![]()

With regards to the Fevola trade scenarios I suggest you go to the Fiction board
You will get a low First round pick at best

Fev is potentially a 100 goal FF in a good side. They're like gold thus you pay through the nose if you want them. For players like that you trade a gun for a gun not a speculative draft pick (don't want anything like Hamill for pick 4.......Livington..remember!). You can't replace those guys in a draft. Trade preferably for a KP forward or defender (eg Reiwoldt/Rutten/Glass). Unless you get Judd don't worry about a midfield trade. We need a KP defender alot more and this is a good chance to get one. A midfielder's more easily picked up in the draft than a KP player. If no-one wants him then he's under contract and we keep him. While I agree, other clubs are far more likely to offer draft picks for Fev than gun 20-24 year olds on their list - they just won't give em up. The player trade market has been getting thinner each year.
Unless someone who fits the bill is desperate to come back to Melbourne, or a club is willing to sacrifice a midfielder to get a FF, we're realistically looking at a first and second round pick for Fev, but 9 and 26 is too low - through a 3way we should be able to demand a top 6 pick and a 2nd within the top 20.
It's important too that even if we do give up on Fev, we preach publicly that he is a "required player" "under contract" etc so we don't lose any bargaining power. He has to get his act together the rest of the year if he wants to continue his AFL career - be it with us or elsewhere.
5 picks in the top 25 thru a Fev trade and priority pick would still be awesome.
Out the back door you mean?Interesting but I'm definately not even half-way convinced.
If there is a leak from CFC then that is bad news that it would be leaked to a half wit who would post all future operations on the net?
And I am pretty sure from good word if Denis leaves CFC, Fev will be running back in the door at Prince's Park.
I think Fev has his differences with the whole coaching squad who i believe are goons bar ofcourse Ratts & Braddles.
)Out the back door you mean?
Pagan is the ONLY reason Fev is still at the club. Period.
If it wasnt' fer Dennis Fev would be tearing it up for a VFL side......or maybe he would have lost all motivation and be doing something else......either way, he was gone at the end of Brittains coaching stint (Funny how no-one claimed "Britts has lost the players......." despite winning our first spoon)
If Pagan sees fit to get rid of him then its his only friend I'm afraid.
Funny.Source?
Interesting.....saw Vossy talking to the Collingwood recruiting team today....perhaps Voss to the pies replacing McKenna who goes to carlton?

If the bottom end of the ladder was to finish with Richmond below us (Likely Spoon), Melbourne winning a couple more games, which they should, the rest of the ladder remain in the same order (unlikely also) and we don't win any more (likely), then this would be the order of picks before trades:
Priority Pick
Carlton.....1
Round 1
Richmond...Pick 2
Carlton...Pick 3
Melbourne...Pick 4
Brisbane...Pick 5
St.Kilda...Pick 6
Fremantle...Pick 7
Sydney...Pick 8
Port Adela...Pick 9
Essendon...Pick 10
W Bulldogs...Pick 11
Adelaide...Pick 12
Kangaroos...Pick 13
Collingwood...Pick 14
Hawthorn...Pick 15
West Coast...Pick 16
Geelong...Pick 17
Priority Pick
Richmond....18
Round 2
Richmond....19
Carlton......20
Now if we trade Fev to the Tiggies lets say for Pick 2 & Pick 18/a player, then we would end up with Pick 1, 2, 3, 18/a player, 20, 36 etc. There are many computations depending on where teams finish, how many games they win and of course trades.![]()
Does TD do any coaching on match days? Can't say that I have noticed him around the club on match days recently.
Anyone see Gough Whitlam celebrate his 91st birthday at DP's house in Kew?
Is that a serious question or is there a punchline coming?
No Yoss, it was on Ch.10's news. And Prattys wife said she was looking forward to hosting his 92nd birthday next year.

Which perhaps means that he could stay despite the signs pointing otherwise and HBF's good point about Fev being our Richo.

How do you know that? Fev has always been the one player to publicly support Pagan.I wasn't arguing the fact that Denis saved his career at Carlton but he didn't do a hell of a lot until Denis took over.
I'm saying that Brendan is now unhappy under the management of Pagan, Libba and co.
Thats why I believe if Pagan goes, Fev will stay.
I think Fev wants to leave for a new coach, if anything.
Labour party looking for a professional scapegoat?? Their internal polling can't be too positive![]()

BrizzyBlue said:The Great Coaching Standoff: My sources tell me that Dick/Swannie/Icke are amazed at how this situation was allowed to develop. How Smorgo/Malouf/Sticks either were responsible for the fiasco or at least turned a blind eye to the situation. I can reveal that it is about to cease. Don’t wet ya kimbies just yet. There are some difficult contract/legal issues to resolve first, but the ball is in motion. Firstly they are definite about a Carlton reserves team next year. This will do a number of things. Firstly, kids playing in the magoos will be playing roles that the Senior Coach needs for their development. Secondly, they will play half of their games at PP under the watchful eye of our Coaches.
