No, it would indicate that we have a passion for our team that goes beyond just the superstars.

We'll have much longer threads on all of the players we draft as soon as they're announced on Draft Night... We aren't complete fame whores when it comes to who we discuss.

Looks like no Young at Collingwood. Geoff Walsh just said on SEN that we are finished with the FA and trade period. So we go to the draft with 3 first round picks.

Young must be staying at Hawthorn.

Well we have to wait and see as Pretty Much could mean a Few Things and Remember Bucks said No About Lynch on the 1st Day of FA;)

Geoff Walsh has said this morning on SEN that Collingwood won't be taking any further part in the trade period and will go into the draft with their 3 first round picks.

Good Call,

The deal means that Collingwood has time ahead of Friday's free-agency deadline to ensure it has the cap space to secure Clinton Young, who is tossing up whether to remain at Hawthorn or accept an offer from the Magpies. Other clubs that had made approaches to Young accept that Collingwood remains the only serious contender to prise him away from the Hawks.

What a load of crap. He has always been regarded highly at the Hawks and walks into their team when fully fit.

As for his blunder in the GF so what one mistake doesnt tarnish a players career. plenty of players have made mistakes like that on the big stage and have gone onto to dominate e.g. Rhyce Shaw (Syd B&F) and Nick Riewaldt

Maybe do some research on the player like watching his games or talking to Hawthorn supporters about him before making uneducated comments like that.

I feel so sorry for Dave. I can't imagine how he would be coping through this very tough time. Putting in all the effort for nothing and one of his favorites got traded last night.

My thoughts are with you Dave through this very tough time you are going though.
 
Walsh spoke so highly of him the other day and now he says this. Pretty surprised to be honest. We are looking to draft in a draft the club said themselves isn't a strong draft. Very disappointed with our trade week, but then again there is so much crap spoke by footy clubs.

I don't think we are done in this period yet.
 
Our trade period is definitely done.

We have walked away with everything we have wanted by improving our strength in the draft.

Clinton Young will be our last iron in the fire in terms of free agency.

We may find a token home for say Luke Rounds but overall I'm happy to be heading to the draft with our picks.
 
Triple M's news update just said we've "all but ruled out" recruiting Clinton Young, saying we're happy with our current picks. Pretty much going by what was said on SEN I would imagine.

Given that he's an UFA though, I'm not going to count it out until he signs with the Hawks or Friday passes. Wait and see.
