He'd be a handy player for the Pies now with Wellingham gone. He has great acceleration and pace and a booming left foot kick but that's about it. He can kick beautifully 55-60 metres but anywhere from 15-40 metres and it's a lottery. Very dangerous at the run from the wing boot it for goal if an extra avenue to goal is what the Pies are after.

He was a very hard running player in 08 and I'm sure he could do the same if he remains fit (another concern is his past with injuries). He is soft but not as soft as what he used to be. Actually seen him go pretty hard at it this year which was good to see and he seemed legitimately hungry to tackle. Did get shown up in the Granny and fumbled badly in the goal square to give Sydney a crucial goal.

Would be a good pick up by the Pies if you can manage him well throughout the season. Hope he doesn't go as he is a good player that I'd like for us to keep.

Young was on track to win the Norm Smith in 2008 GF before he injured his ankle.

As mentioned by others he is an Unrestricted FA so you get him for just the cost of his new contract.

His booming 60m+ kick into your forward line would certainly add another dangerous string to your bow.
 
His only asset are his 50+ metre kicks. He burns the ball over every other distance and has very average decision making.

I have been saying this all year while watching Hawks games. Having said all that would be a good get by the Pies if it can be done.

Did They - Did not know TradeRadio said that.

It started from a article that Gleeson wrote that Young Vistited Westpac Center. I have heard him going to Scum Park as well

you would have thought by now they would have rushed to sign him, but maybe they have other ideas?

maybe they have but young or the hawks are still considering their options? collingwood isn't the only party involved. There are a few weeks left, i dont think anyone is gonna rush

Blues are not going after anyone i watched the video they posted today with Andrew McKay and he said they wont be going after anyone so you can cross young going to the blues off the list.

A little off topic but i still can't believe we got luke ball for nothing.He is the difference between winning a premiership and losing a premiership.Cannot believe st kilda left him on the bench when the gf was on the line against geelong. Ross lyon is an idiot.
