That will be me if he gets a game instead of Simon Buckley.
Okay? I was delighted when your mob lost the Grand Final last year, but I don't see the relevance? That moment, when Young fell over, was when the football world opened their eyes and realised he really isn't a good player. That looked like me when Malceski kicked the sealer and ironically when Jack kicked the goal when Young fell over.
Both different players. Ball was always a contested ball magnet, so you didn't really do anything different there. Brown, full credit to Collingwood there for releasing his potential. Young is different to both these guys because they wanted to get better. He's content being a one trick pony.Bud
We were told that about Luke Ball and Leroy and they both turn out alright for us.
Are you saying Collingwood didn't want to keep Wellingham? Odd, your president seemed pretty keen to keep him.Suckling2Gunston
That comment really teared you up inside didnt it
Think of all our big players that have had millions thrown at them but stayed with us for smaller amounts
Players do not wnat to leave Collingwood so get over it i doubt many clubs if in our position with two new teams coming in could have keep
Cloke,Pendles,Swan.Thomas,Beams,Sidebottom,Reid
Dawes and Wellingham we could have kept but did not see they were worth it we have gone cold on Dawes and Wellingham is just one of those mids does a job but can be replaced
Do not forget the players we have signed who had plenty of clubs after them
Ball,Jolly,Lynch,Krakour,Tarrant
KEY PLAYERS WHO COLLINGWOOD WANT DO NOT LEAVE COLLINGWOOD SIMPLE

Fair point. Buckley may be terrible, but at least he'll tackle occassionally. Still, I do see your point.

In reply to those names, we've re-signed about 10 players this year, including Hodge, Mitchell, Birchall, Savage etc etc.
Can't wait to be around until we actually land him. Until then, who knows whats going to happenMy, aren't we excitable today. Wish I was around when we landed Ball and Jolly.
Hodge Mitchell 29 year olds
Pendles 24
Thomas 24
Cloke 25
Beams 23
Sidebottom 23
Reid 23
Swan 28
Wellingham is not a key to our team same as Dawes we rate Wellingham but he can be easily replcaed the players above can not be replaced by picks all these players had millions throw at them you dont think we could have offered Wellingham another 150K we could have but we didnt see him being worth that so we moved on and will pick up blokes like Lynch and Yound who will replcae dawes and Wellingham
Hence the reason why you did not resign YoungFair point. Buckley may be terrible, but at least he'll tackle occassionally. Still, I do see your point.

Hence the reason why you did not resign Youngbut that is alright we will take him and he will be welcome here.
On Wellingham we got pick 17 for him I was going to say how did you go with Young but that is too cruel.
Young can fill a gap we need filling and if he comes for nothing then even better win win for the Pies.
Means nothing, our football mastermind we have here thinks Young is no good and wouldn't of played him all year. So I don't think your digs will have any effect here.Hence the reason why you did not resign Youngbut that is alright we will take him and he will be welcome here.

WTF!

Wouldn't have*. And no, if I had any say, which I obviously don't, I would have moved him on with the interest shown last year.
Hodge is also injury prone and the way he has played you have wonder how long he has left unlike most of our players.Dawes has always been terrible though, if it's true that he's on 500k then he has the best agent in the history on the world. $31,250 per goal this season. For what it's worth, I agree with you regarding Wellingham, he's incredibly overrated because he plays for Collingwood, where players like Harry O'Brian and Alan Toovey are genuine superstars of the competition.
Personally, I'd be looking at getting a tagger in to replace Wellingham. Your mids are great when the ball is won (Ball obviously the missing link this year) but in our three games this year we won by running off you guys. Teams will look to tag Beams, Swan and Pendlebury, we went toe-to-toe.
Hodge is 28, for what it's worth. Birchall, Savage, Schoenmakers, Smith are all still very young.
Lol blaming the player being forced out so you can retain Buddy, wow class act.Well, he played a big part in us losing the biggest game of the year.

Your lot blew it - as a team, face it and move on sunshine.
So he gave up a goal. Buddy missed multiple sitters. What about Rioli who did sweet **** all? Did he play a big part? Better trade them both too.Well, he played a big part in us losing the biggest game of the year.

Singling out individuals for an error they had in a 80+ minute game cannot cost a team of 22 people a game.
And we stuck by Wellers even after he cost us a major sponsorship - the past has no currency in player negotiations.Franklin isn't even on huge coin lol. Somewhere between 700-800k. As for being forced out, you really need to get your facts straight. We've stuck by him through numerous injury riddled seasons, he's the one turning down our offers.
