I know the old man is very very high up in Toyota and knows Vlad very well.
One set of parents are best mates with Swanny's Mum and Dad and the cousin is always at different functions for our club.
The whole lot of them seem to have fingers in all sorts of AFL Pie.

No it hasn't.

They just go with it after it has been confirmed by other media outlets or clubs or afl.

They ran with "Western Bulldogs supporters welcome your new recruit Chris Dawes who will join your club in exchange for...." Even put up a pic of Dawes in doggies colours only for Dawes a day later to choose Melbourne.

That is hardly "on the money".

I think they've been spot on, from my memory. Not hard though when you post every possible permutation & combination for each trade/FA/rumour.

I don't even care that much anymore. I followed the trade week and free agency, first two weeks but its so draining now I don't even bother. If it happens it happens, we don't really have much control what happens.

I will follow from Friday and Monday onwards. I am hoping you take my advice Dave haha . A few days off and re energize for the final day of free agency and then the final week of trade period.

Another Hawk who finds himself in and out of the hawks team throughout his career, a reliable source to myself has informed me that Young again today spoke with Collingwood officials, who believe that he will sign with Collingwood before the Friday deadline for free agency.

I'm hearing it may not actually, Chris has had a lot of team mates in his ear and that Collingwood are wanting BIG overs for it to happen.
Apparantly BJ could be the one on shaky ground if Young comes in as well.

This actually would be a better outcome IMHO

not gonna give my sources up, but from my understanding as soon as the dawes deal is complete which will be by tomorrow night pick 20 and petterd, as soon as that is complete young will be announced as a free agent either the same night or early the next day.
