Is Jason Cloke a worth while asset, compared to his brother Cameron he doesn't have good skill or mobility. At one stage last year he played a few good games as a floating free man in defence, which isn't hard for anyone who can read the play the game. Does he need more time to develop as a backman or a forward where is he better off?

Jason is a tough and honest player who gives his all for Collingwood, and all the Maggie fans love him.
A future leader of our club!

I'm never sure of Jason, and even less sure of what MM is trying with him.

I thought he was our best player against the Dees, but against the swans he got little game time.
I think he is still in our best 22, but a backman only. No forward positions for Jason.

he's a keeper IMO, is still only young and developing in the game, will be a good player in the future
he didnt get much game time against Swans cos there was no decent match up and o'keefe was carving him up, which is expected of someone of his stature compared to Jason

That's an underestimated quality and is easier said than done. Cloke has shown he has the ability to read the play well and play a valuable role in the back line. He's only young and will improve.

Jason will never ever be a star of the comp.
But he is honest and gives it his all.
Every club has players like Jason.

MM and Judkins had a bit of foresight in drafting Jason as it was always considered that the younger Clokes were better - even back then. Once we had one it was a good bet the others would follow.
That takes nothing away from Jason, but does show some deep thinking in our recruiting

Comparing him to his brother is pointless and irrelevant.

He is a tough and dour defender with ordinary skills, in the great tradition of tough and dour defenders. Needs to improve to have a long career, otherwise he will be remembered as a handy 100 gamer who has a famous dad and 2 famous brothers.

You are a sad little person.
Where you bullied as a kid and is this the way you get back at all those horrible people.
Still go no friends? Do you wonder why?

I think Jason is a good player, he will probably get Wakelins job when Wakelin retires and needs to play in the backline because he is definetly not a forward.

I hate to tell you so but the collingwood list now has TWO less chunks of dead wood. future leader of our club...good call
