Still expect to see CC delisted before noon tomorrow. If so, we expect Port to draft him. If they dont, expect Carlton to rookie him for contractual reasons
 
Various things Toad - comes back for pre season in less than great shape, led Eddie and Jeffy astray, ordinary player, and mad dad!
 
Cloke must have really pissed off a few people- there were a few who deserved the arse before him.

Further reflection of how far we've come since a few years ago, when we had no choice but to persevere with players with average talent and questionable attitude/application because we had nothing better to run with.

I've always liked big Cam as a player who's tried hard and had a bit of mongrel about him (and who's taken the odd screamer), but if he was the ringleader on the night out with Eddie and Jeff and he's slack in the off-season then he's no great loss.
 
I couldn't care either way if Cloke is delisted, but I think these 'Cameron led little Eddie astray' comments are a bit rich.

Betts is a senior player who has been at the club longer than Cloke.

Bear in mind there's always stuff we supporters aren't privy to.

Yes Betts is a grown man and should be accountable for his own decisions and actions, but it's a fact that there will always be some people who are easily led, and the less blokes we have around the place leading them in the wrong direction (all other things being equal) the better.

If we do have to rookie him eric, you'd have to think he'd be very fortunate to even play one senior game with us next year.
 
Man, I'm no Cloke fan but can we really afford to delist one of the few players who provides depth up front....This suggests they think the likes of Henderson and Austin are ready for next year. Would also dramatically increase Goose's chances one would think.

It has been acknowledged Carlton now has a very large gap in the salary cap after Stevens and Fev left, could well be that we decide we can afford to delist say Johnson or Fisher and go ahead and pick a kid up.

Actually that raises a question Pick 59 or PSD pick?

I have stated my view that Maguire is a big win small loss situation in my view, but perhaps the club has an idea of a kid around 59 that could be a better long term prospect. However I see that as unlikely

It's actually just the second list lodgement. The third is on 2nd December - a fortnight before the PSD & Rookie drafts.

Umm What do you mean he came back in less than great shape?? hes not even back yet. he played in the Bullants GF and all players who played in the game were given an extra 2 weeks off which means hes not due back untill monday.

Safe to say if he has not had the tatt finished he is gone. We cannot tolerate second rate sleaves! They should be professionals. You can't Swann around with an outline all season for crying out loud.
Cannot wait until the wablues own Cam Cloke is again 1 of us or one of them!
