You'd think a story like this would come out on Monday after the game - perhaps it took him a while to find this thread to come up with the idea.

I mentioned it in the other thread that is based on Trav's inaccuracy and how it may or may not cost us and the point is other then him getting his kicking right there is not much we can do about it at this stage.

The 2003 grand final and the impact of Rocca's absence on our side and structure came up and whilst Trav isn't in the same bracket I'd say there is a shade of truth in what was said there of Rocca in Trav with our current line up.

We are talking about the fact that he may have a shot late to decide the game but the fact is if we where trailing by a kick with a couple of minutes to go and the well drilled Saints or Geelong defence had dropped back in numbers to make sure we don't score Trav is one of the only players in our current line up who you would think is capable or taking a big grab up in a congested foward line. So whilst it would be a nightmare I doubt we'd have the firepower up foward to have even gotten the hypothetical set shot without Trav there. So therefore IMO inaccurate Trav is still a better option then no Trav. That said he really does need to work hard on his goal kicking for the next 8 weeks.
