Very upset my foot.

Home and Away can easily be replayed and it will have no affect of the viewers "emotionally"

If tennis isn't live and you happen to hear the result while watching it then it just isn't the same watching it afterwards. Sport is about emotion and we need to get big matches live.

Home and Away can wait. If those viewers "get very upset" if the Home and Away is not shown for the night then why wouldn't they get upset tonight??????

I don't see their point in being upset, because when Lleyton played the other day (i forget which day, but it went for 4 hours... ) Home & Away couldn't be played, but the next day they just had it for an hour instead of half an hour.

People would be happy with the double amount. Live sports like tennis (especially in a final) should always come before a soapie that can get played the next day.

Sing it brother.

I was dead set spewing last night when I came across the scores and it was not live, it pretty much ruined it for me and I just looked at the scores and read constant reports. It was still a great match but when I know what is going to happen at all the big points it did take it away from it.

I have to go to great depths sometimes not to find out a crows score if I have to watch a reply, dont listen to any radio, no tv and pretty much just locking myself away in my room until its time to watch it, drives me and pretty much my whole family and friends nuts. :o

Infact I cant understand the reasoning for starting these shows during the summer when sport is on any way.

LIVE :D

Lletron lost the first 6-3 but fair dinkum, some of those Roddick serves are rockets. I mean 227 km/h  I sure as hell wouldn't like one of those balls being aimed at me.

I'm confused...Becs at the tennis yet 30 minutes ago I saw her ordering a hamburger at the Summer Bay tuck shop???

Don't worry Stiff, it's early days yet.

2-1 in the second up here.
Must be stormy around the Alice tonight, and thus the TV signals take longer to get up here.

Hewitt wins the second in the tie breaker and his good mate Bunji is there to support him :D

I suppose the rest of the Crows will be there for the final. I have had a feeling all week, well since I started the other thread that something special was happening. I had the same feeling 97 when I felt the Crows could never lose , even in the prelim.

Come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahh so you too get that old tingling sensation in your bones :D

Great win by Lleyton & now 1 more to go & it's not the Swiss machine so he's got a 50/50 chance.

Jars, you can pay by check, credit card or if your in a good mood a carton of Crownies will do just fine. :)

I can see how he keeps beating Roddick now. Andy's a bit of a flat track bully with the monster first serve and the crunching forehand. But he can't rally. After keeping a few balls in play, if he hasn't hit the winner he invariably overcooks one or slams it into the net. Lleyton ran down everything, kept the ball in play (nice and deep, good shots tho) and Andy just melted down.

If Marat is tuned in, the final should be a classic cos Marat repeatedly monsters the ball on serve and groundstrokes and can hit the lines wide and deep over and over. Ask Federer.

Oh yes, I've played nearly 300 games of cricket at a fairly high level, and Roddicks first serve scares the b'jesus out of me; it's got me bugger how people return it.

Cmon! Now i hate to sound like a glory hog but i'm going to have to claim the responsibility for Hewitt's 4th round, QF and SF victories. You see each match just as it looks like he;s gone i've gone to the beer fridge, struggled with the god damn popped top heiniken bottles and than drank one while watching the game and he comes back every time

But seriously, he would make one hell of a rover!

it's a bloody tennis ball for christ sake !!

You have to see it to hit it!! ;)

I remember facing Peter Gladigau in indoor cricket. I hadn't moved the bat when the ball hit the net behind me. Never saw it!! :D

Scared the sh*t out of me.
