Coach declares his support

I have recently been made aware that the coach of Melbourne, Neale Daniher has put his support behind Team Vision. He does not want the possible disturbance that Gutnick could/will cause if he gets back in.
Interesting isn't it? The people who are closely involved with the Club all don't want Joe. He has not been able to attract one past player to his ticket. The Gutnick ticket has NO FOOTBALL EXPERIENCE AT ALL and is led by a bloke who knows little about it. What a disaster that would be. How can a footy club run effectively like that?
It seems to be a very loud minority keeping Joes hopes up. I was listening to 3AW yesterday and this women, closely linked with Melbourne First, rang up and went on with biggest dribble I have heard while at the same time attacking Dr Turf, a high profile Melbourne supporter and co presenter of the show for having an opinion. In fact the only high profile supporter I can think that supports Gutnick is Derryn Hinch. Someone who wore an Adelaide Crows scarf to the 1998 Grand Final, who left at 1/4 time of the 2000 Grand Final and who was not a member until all this drama started. Great stuff from this mob. Talk about not putting Melbourne First.

He is a media personality with his main interest in racing. I.e: Dr Turf. He is currently on 3AW sometimes as well as a panelist on The Fat some weeks. He is a keen Melbourne supporter. His brother was on the board.

I really don't care what Ms Storm has to say.

i've decided that i'm not going to worry about our club presidency, coz i'll just get stressed from it, and it jkinda doesn't matter what i think any ways coz i'm only 15!!

Dr. Smurf is the biggest stirrer we have at the football club.
He clearly lied on Sat, on radio saying he supported Joe until only recently...I know that's not the truth.....he's never supported Joe and even more so when he brother was TURFED OUT fromthe Board by the members just recently......

I guess some of us will have to fill you in with some home truths about the past Dees01....you seem to know very little about what has happened there

PS... Do you have dark hair and its sort of wavy?? And you are about medium height? Hope you don't think I am being nosey, but at Colonial after the Freo game in the social club I spotted someone that I thought might resemble you.

Well believe it or not Ms Storm, like Dr Turf I was quite happy for Joe to be President until all this mid season drama happened. From there it opened me up to see what was really going on.
I do have darkish hair but would be more than medium height. We should have arranged to meet becuase a lot of us were in there that day.
You had better get to me before the meeting. I will actually vote on the night of the meeting so you had better get to me before then if you want to change your mind.
Might arrange something closer to the date.

It wasn't Gutnick who started all that trouble though was it? He was merely responding to the persistent leaking of info to the media from certain board members. He rightfully asked for their removal, THEY refused causing the trouble.

Dees01 NEVER seems to want to believe anyone who sticks up for Joe.....which is unfortunate....

I have yet to meet anyone that likes or believes Dr. Turf.

Excuse me but this morning is the first time I have been able to read BT's response. Yes it has merit but I still do not like the way the whole thing was handled.
As for the merger I actually did not get to vote but I believed what I thought was right as I do here.

I don't believe these claims about Daniher for a moment, not the least because 1. there is no proof of any of it
2, the football department is apolitical in this elecction
3. they gave joe the OK to have a mid-term poll
4. Daniher has stated on public record that he has no problems working with joe.

He will say that on the outside but he does have his own private thoughts.
As for giving the go ahead to have a mid year election, what a load of absoloute crap.
