I just played a season and like it so far, the biggest thing for me was it takes to long to change FF to a FP, and you need to put in a ratings sysytem for players so u can see who is in form and out of form, rate them out of 10 or 100 on there last game and say keep up to there last 5.

yeh like a combination of TAR and FM/CM.

Give each player a rating out of 10 for each game, and on the rosters and lneup screen give them a form rating out of 100.

Does the game rate them, or does the coach (or maybe both can)?

I reakon the game should give each player a rating out of 10, comparing the players results directly to his opponents, taking into account opponents form, ability etc. Then the coach himself should pick a 54321 to whoever he thought played best, thats my opinion anyway.

the game rates them, it so u can still pick your best side (or close too) without going though pilles of stats and see how your players are going in the two's see whos ready for the call up

have u played cm/fm? if not id be happy to upload it/or find a downlaod link 4 u, if u played it it would probly be really benefitial to making this game as CM/FM are miles ahead of any other sports management game.

I havn't played it yet but I'm getting ADSL2 installed at home next week so i'm planning on downloading it then. I've heard heaps about it and I'm currently using screen shots of the game to get a basic idea on how it does things.

How do you create a game like this?

Is it like Microsoft Access cause I know most of the files in there?

Do you have to install some kind of software cause I know I'd love to make a different kind of game!

The game is written in Delphi with a Microsoft Access database. You could write a game in any language you wanted though. If you need any help getting started then PM me and I could help you out.

It also took me 3 years at uni and 3 years in the work force. If you are just starting out then I would suggest completing some programming tutorials to get familiar with what is required.

eg players with teh highest possesions go at the bottom. could this please be reversed?

Also is the TOTAL/AVG completely necesssary, i like the info available to me but it just slightly inconvenient on the rosters tab.

I will be extending the ladder grid to show data like that (this will be an option) that will display teams totals and you can then sort as you wish.

Is historical data being able to view matches played, or is is past records and stuff like most games, most goals, most goals in a gmae, etc?

eventually it will be all that including premierhsips, drafts, team/league records, team/league leaders. Anything from past seasons you want to see.

I'm not sure what will be implimented of this functionality for next release but you'll get a taste of what it will finally be like.

just got my first error message in this game, and every time i click ok i reappears, its fine now after i 'Ctrl-Alt-Del' ed, probly nothing, but i just thouht id let u know.

If you click on the column a second time it then puts it in descending order - highest at the top.

But you're right, it would be better if the first time you pressed it you get it in DESC and not ASC order.

Minor issue.

I started a new season and played a few games. I then went around the different screens to see what each offered. When I clicked on the Main button I got taken back to the opening screen and didn't know how to get back to the game I was in.

I eventually worked out that I had to load the game again but it was not an intuitive set of steps. It would be easier if there were a message box asking you if you wanted to leave the current game or a Return to Current Game button on the main screen once you got there.
