You got Graham cornes wrong as well, he was coaching a tier above the vfl/afl as he was south australia SOO coach an named twice as all australain coach (87/88)

But what else could we of expected from you.

Didn Merritt coach Brisbane too?
It doesn't appear to be taking mid-season changes of coach into account, with the 1993 wooden spoon being solely assigned to Buckenara, and there being no mention of Scott (who was a caretaker for a couple of games before the appointment of Barassi).

Brenton Sanderson was AC at Geelong, not Essendon. It is also misspelt as Breton :p.

Essendon was his last AC position.

if im reading correctly,
once malthouse finishes as coach this year that will leave woosha as the longest serving coach for the same club yes?

Yeah State of Origin does not really count, he coached Glenelg fulltime in 1990, therefore he came from a inferior league to the AFL.

Yes, and the second most experienced senior coach overall behind Sheedy.

And when Williams takes over from Sheedy, I believe that he Williams will have 1 more year experience than Worsfold. Assuming Williams takes over in 2013...

Fair enough.

Looking down that list and there is some high turnover of coaches. 6 for 2012 at the moment + whoever StK announce. 12 new appointments (effectively) in the last 12 months.

2002 - Woosha, 2005 - Clarko and 2008 - Rats the longest serving coaches at their current clubs.
