Sorry to intrude..but surely if the AFL had any gumption they would already have the deal done to bring in Clarkson to your club next year - pay him whatever he wants and give him full control over the football program. If I was a player and knew Clarko was coming in, it would give me a hell of a spring in my step. The guy is a serial winner. There is very little else the AFL could do to more help GC make the next step and give them a huge reason for players to want to sign on long term. anyway, not sure what will happen but if he does get to GC, it will be the beginning of something special I think
