Not a surprise. If you look at the team the oldest players were Tambling and Polak, the rest 1st or 2nd year kids. Very interested to see how Tambling went. Should be made to dominate Coburg and pick up 30+ possessions for 3 weeks in a row off half-back before he's brought back.

Tambling named as best for Coburg, as you would expect for a guy with 100 AFL games.

Tambling might go straight back into that team as there might be a few more people dropped after our smashing.

Yes, but the coaching staff will want a strong structure first. no point getting belted each week, and he is a part of our future.

thats why he will play in the reserves for the next two weeks. our structure and his development for the future is more important then this weeks structure, thursfield moore white and jackson will provide structure this week.

if tambling can play defence then Connors or Delidio will be put into midfeild/wing.

Good to see Polly back in form was looking good before his ko could still be a fwd target maybe

Where was this game played? Please don't say Geelong as I will be really pissed that I didn't go.
You're safe Tugga, game was at Coburg

Exactly, he needs to earn his spot just like all other players on the list and not be granted special consideration just because he was pick 4. We need him to come good. He has been driving me nuts this year and i'll be happy to admit that Hardwick playing him in the wrong position will be the reason for his sub-par performances... if he improves. Hopefully his woeful decision making changes.

I dont think he will play on next year because he will just slow down the development of Griffiths, Post and Astbury if he plays down there.

seeing our lack of talented talls if he shows something may be used as a tall utility 3rd rucman/tall target fwd/tall defender

i think Polly will be going - along with King, Hislop, Thomson, McMahon, Roberts & quite possibly Cousins& Polo.

I think with the success that DH has had with this new crop of kids - he won't baulk one bit on trying to add as many " clean skins" as possible.

King won't go. Has come a long, long way this year and was one of our better players on Saturday. Will get another year or 2 at least.

Plenty of talk about Hislop having contract talks prior to his dual knee surgery that ended his season. Given the requirements of paying players that have their careers ended by workplace injury, that doesn't surprise me, although it may be with him getting demoted to a rookie spot.

I expect McMahon, Polo, Thomson, Simmonds, Polak, Roberts to be the first out the door. Hopefully we can trade Tuck and someone like McGuane, Moore or even Morton for a couple of extra spots.

Hope Cousins doesn't go
