I don't think he would've taken O'Loughlin any better than anyone else. Not a refelection onhim, but more a reflection on how good O'Loughlin was.....

When he's on his day, there isn't a defender in the league who can go with him.

yea I've noticed that too - in fact the Swans always seem to do better than most other clubs against us......I get reminded constantly about it :(

Still, there must be a reason why he hasnt been in the team this year?? He, along with Chambers were in the starting 22 easily last year but seem to have fallen out of favour for some reason.

If he had been playing regular senior footy, he probably would have done a reasonable job, but I doubt anyone would have had a great day given the sort of delivery the swans were getting out of the midfield.

Yes, Embley's form seems to have pushed Braun to the bench, which has pushed Chambers to the sidelines.....

As for Collica, it's debatable as to which should be our third tall option - Hunter or him........

Collica plays over his height, but I wouldn't be comfortable calling him a tall option. Probably deserves to get a run down back before the finals though.

he's a not back by any means, he's only 184cm, but he's the type of guy who'd take on the third tallest man in the opposition generally.

He'd probably take Cameron Bruce when we played Melbourne for isntance.....

hmmmmmm Hunter in the forward line I'm not sure about. He started off playing there though didn't he???? He just seems to be a dodgy kick.

But then I guess so are Haynes and Gaspar.....

His kick against Carlton last year was a good example of that

Collica simply must get a game, the sooner the better IMO. How he has fallen out of favour perhaps we will never know. It's easy to see why Chambers has missed selection week after week, our midfield dominance and required a minimum of tweaking. But our backline is our weakpoint. Surely a guy of Collica's skills and work ethic would be an asset back there??

Cmon Whoosha...play him.

Who would have thought we would be coming up to Round 15, and saying that Collica hasn't even been able to crack a game yet.
