This thread is for you to mention the bets you make in regard to the Collingwood Football Club, doesnt have to be just now, it could be throughout the season so lets hear what you've done.

Ill start off with:

Not sure how much exactly but I put money on the Pies for the Premiership late last year, just as a loyal fan.

Just today, I placed $20 on Alan Didak to win the Brownlow at $401 with a return of $8020. So fingers crossed!

I lost money on the weekend :(

I had $10 on Cats by 25-42 and $10 on Collingwood between 25-42. Both were paying over $6-7.

At least this one, from Feb, is looking good.

I used to bet against them with pie supporters. You don't mind paying when we win and get compensated when we loose to drown your sorrows.

I do that all the time.

Usually put a $50 or $100 on a team thats playing us when they're over $3

Worked beatifully against the blues, got them at $4.30 :thumbsu:

All done in October last year

Collingwood/Hawks GF quinella $5 @ 47-1
Collingwood/WB GF quinella $5 @ 155-1
Collingwood/Saints GF quinella $5 @ 52-1

10 each way on dids for the brownlow : 10 @ 401-1, 10 @ 101-1 for a place

Other brownlow bets:
Montagna $5 @ 201
Swan $5 @ 51
Johnstone $5 @ 301
Accidently put $5 on Kosi @ 81

$20 on the pies for this years flag, put on after last years GF... meh.

$$$ on did's for the brownlow? Maybe if the umpires didn't decide the votes (from his mouth)

had collingwood in a multibet to win by over 15.5 points, to hit 25 points first, australia to beat ghana, west coast to win by over 15.5 points and for brisbane to win under 39.5 points.

st kilda you no what i want to say but i cant because i might hurt your feelings if you read it.

I never back for or against Collingwood, but I was sorely tempted by the +24.5 playing Geelong. :(

I am punting in our punter's club this week, we have had a good run and are all shying away from the big odds. If you collect more than the outlay you go again and all winnings are banked, so we are about small returns atm.

I mentioned it in another thread, but this week I will have Crows, Cats and Melbourne (goals in) into Collingwood at 2.80. Tempted top throw Brisbane in but this is where we have been burned going for the bridge to far to pad out the odds.

Geez if Bucks can only scrape in for a three-way tie Brownlow, what hope does Dids have? The umps seem to really dislike him. He got 4 votes in 2006, 7th out of Pie players, despite winning the Copeland.

He's definately no umpire favourite. He's that yappy type that the umpires seem to hate.

Getting only 4 votes in his stellar 2006 season was ridiculous.

Just for the f___ of it, I put $60 on the Pies this weekend, even though Im not 100% confident of the result. Also, the odds are absolute crap and not worth a punt. Something like $1.20something...
