It's the problem with the modern world. People are too fixated on a performer being the "modern" athlete so they use that and over look talent.
Just off the top of my head, Lachie Neale, Michael Walters and Ballantyne are all below 178cm, every single one of those players would make our best side and make us instantly better. That's just at one team, im sure you can find multiple examples at every other club.
Well spottedAt the 1.10 minute mark it looks very much like young Callum is training...

sounds great, and don't forget Brownys sonEdited for further embellishment and multi permutations![]()
It just counts results of the team that seems redundant to me as in under 9s, 10s and 11s they don't count goals and no team wins or loses.Probably not though?
Whoever it is it seems a bit creepy for there to be a site which keeps stats on 9 year olds
I here Jett is only 130cm to short we can't draft himHow many Jett Buckley's do you think there are Dave? It's not exactly a common name...
Yeah.... NahCould be another Jett Buckley
I've named my son Jett Buckley in the hope there is an admin error and my kid gets drafted by the pies. I've called my daughter "Oprah" as well. How many Jett Buckley's do you think there are Dave? It's not exactly a common name...
I thought there was a column for goals? Either way, if 9-year olds care about stats then they've changed since I was oneIt just counts results of the team that seems redundant to me as in under 9s, 10s and 11s they don't count goals and no team wins or loses.
Where's the Welcome to Collingwood thread?
No goals and not listed in the best once. He takes after his mum.
Buckley's chanceCould be another Jett Buckley
Could be another Jett Buckley
Sporting pulse for all local comps outside of the tac cup and VFL just records; games played, times in best and goals. For under 9s-11s no scores are kept and players aren't named in the best so both those colums are left blankI thought there was a column for goals? Either way, if 9-year olds care about stats then they've changed since I was one
Not that there's anything wrong with that - well hang on a second here, don't know if I necessarily agree with that sentiment all of the time. Mind you, whatever floats your boat, who am I to judge?I hope the feeling is reciprocated, eh watt price tully?
If we could entice Richards from the mutts and Weidemann.I find it incredible that in 10-15 years time, a massive chunk of our side could be comprised of father/son selection.
All things being equal (which they never are) and assuming no early retirements or anything, our list could have:
- Moore
- Daicos
- Daicos
- Brown
- Brown
- Presigiacomo
- Kelly
- Kelly (from Adelaide)
- Buckley
- Buckley
If we could entice Richards from the mutts and Weidemann.
Too late for Picken to come across??
And a starcevichBe nice to have a few Hrysoulaki, Wilds and McGoughs in their as well imo.
My tweet has gone viral. Haha. The club now
Now 7AFL shared it too.
Where are the Rocca boys? Surely between the two of them we could find one tall key forward who kicks like a mule!
