It's the problem with the modern world. People are too fixated on a performer being the "modern" athlete so they use that and over look talent.

Just off the top of my head, Lachie Neale, Michael Walters and Ballantyne are all below 178cm, every single one of those players would make our best side and make us instantly better. That's just at one team, im sure you can find multiple examples at every other club.

Give me a Sam Mitchell at 179cm every day of the week!

It just counts results of the team that seems redundant to me as in under 9s, 10s and 11s they don't count goals and no team wins or loses.

Sporting pulse for all local comps outside of the tac cup and VFL just records; games played, times in best and goals. For under 9s-11s no scores are kept and players aren't named in the best so both those colums are left blank

Not that there's anything wrong with that - well hang on a second here, don't know if I necessarily agree with that sentiment all of the time. Mind you, whatever floats your boat, who am I to judge?

All things being equal (which they never are) and assuming no early retirements or anything, our list could have:

- Daicos

- Kelly (from Adelaide)
- Buckley
