Ok so maybe this thread will die a slow death and maybe it’s just me having a big whinge but wtf is going on with the Collingwood Twitter account?

If you’ve been following it this year it’s been bizarre to say the least. Most weeks it seems like a child is posting then a fan girl/boy. Why I’m bringing it up today is that last night there was a very odd post that made me react wonder wtf is going on. I’m curious as to others thoughts on the account this year is it just me or has it been totally Bat sh*t crazy? Let’s all get together and Manifest a victory what the hell is this, are we doing witch craft?

I find some of the attempts at using viral terminology pretty cringeworthy, but it's harmless

Definitely noticed it and ive brought it up on here before. Basically they are after engagement and the old style of straight ahead professional information isn't the way to go anymore it seems. Unfortunately then you get stuff like the Lipinski tweet where the focus of his injury wasn't the loss of a good player, but missing out of seeing his face, and the Jamie Elliot Instagram where they cheekily posed the question "what size is he?' followed by the comments section being filled with people talking about penis size. Even the non eyebrow raising stuff is often very childish and cringeworthy but I'm putting it down to even though I'm in my 30s, I'm too ****ing old to be the target of this stuff, so whatever.

The thing is it wasn’t tongue in cheek, this is a common thread with it this year, strange posts. Whoever is doing it is trying hard to be “cool” or whatever the 2022 version of that is.

I think there's definitely more than one person running our socials this year. There's at least one that takes a more traditional approach. You know, old fashioned stuff like capital letters, punctuation and spelling.

Then there's this clown.

I'm just waiting for the inevitable post telling us who we're "versing" this week. You'll hear my anguished, middle aged scream from wherever you are at the time.
