On face value, we did extremly well.

The man in the know, The wiz Colin Wiseby was very happy with each of our picks.

If he is happy, Nick The Pie Man is happy.

Welcome to Collingwood boys!

Once again Noel Judkins has done extremely well with his middle range pick, selecting Brent Hall probably the best tap ruckman in the draft. The only negative I can see is that Guy Richards was seen in the same light and we haven't seen any improvement yet. No disrespect meant to Guy, but the fact is he just isn't improving.

Our first round pick was an absolute master stroke. We got an absolute beast of a recruit. I'm heading down to the local bookie to bet he'll kick another 9 in his senior debut against Richmond... but seriously, if he stays injury free he'll be a pretty handy back up to our already potent forward set up and the most likely option is for him to play down back. Good work again Noel.

The father/son selections were good and bad. Brayden is an absolute steal at 32 as we all know what a player he already is. However I have serious doubts over Heath, I watched all the Knights games this past season and he lacks his brother's dash and is seriously injury prone.

..And our last selection, the less said the better. I really think we should have passed and picked up Dragecevic on our senior list. But we decided to go with an Oakleigh fringe player and now we'll be stuck with Jules for at least 2 years. The best way to describe this child is skinny and weak!

Overall a fairly productive draft.

ON FACE VALUE, you kock

Have you seen any of these players play in their respective competitions>? let alone the bloody AFL!!

At the time Clive Waterhouse was said to be one of the best number 1 draft picks!!!! The ruckman we picked up!-lets hope he doesnt do a Richards.

Bah, Brent Hall has thrice the strength of Guy Richards already and is quite athletic. I don't think he will turn into a Guy Richards who's athleticism is average and is a beanpole. Also unlike Guy Richards, Big Bad Brent Hall can also play CHF/CHB in the future.
