Colonial Record

How good do we play at Colonial! We have only lost there twice, once by a point and another time when we were 6 goals up at half time.
I am not a huge fan of the ground, but the players must like it. It seems to suit our style of play.
However, having to wait 20 minutes for a ticket is a joke! Would not happen at the G. In saying that, there is plenty of leg room in the seats at Colonial. But nothing beats the MCG.

I personally love Colonial but it is so damn expensive!!! I guess its my fault I chose to sit on level 1, but still to pay $16 for a concession ticket with a membership refund is pretty damn expensive! (If I didn't have my membership I would have ended up paying $24.50!!).
Other than the prices though, I really like the ground, its new, its fresh, its clean and it never rains in there!
The G is the best, no doubt about it, its easier to get to, it has amazing atmosphere but I much rather be made to play home game at Colonial than be made to play them at Optus!

Well, I was there at 5:30 so I walked straight in, my ticket was only $9.50 and I headed straight for the Locker Room for beer!

No problem at all with Colonial, but there is no place like home!

yeah, we do do quite well there... but i don't really like the atmosphere there as much as the G. but i have no probs with it too much!!

Colonial Rocks, i dont even have to pay to get in! Membership rules! But i do Miss the G! I love Colonial Coz of the roof!

no or, me and jodie said you were under 15, so you just paid $16. me and danny were the only ones that got refunds coz of our membership - your and jodies membership did nothing at all.

Totally agree. I don't know, you girls. Complaining about holidays on Hamilton Island, trips to Europe, etc etc. I won't be able to even about things like that for years!

i reckon. and if i was to plan a tipr id at least plan it for AFTER footy season. geez get your priorities straight.

i agree with you dee. i'd plan a trip after footy season aswell. But i'd go during footy season if i was going up to QLD or across to WA for a match.

oh yeah totally. i was gonna go to perth this year but im doing 2 (hopefully) trips to melbourne which will be 100 times better.

oh. pity. apparently they are organising something big for the port game, although havent heard all the details yet. but i dont mind having the players pretty much to myself so the less people that come the better.

1. We play well there
2. It's close to home
3. The Locker Room
4. The Atmosphere

No place like the G of course.
