Given the choice, obviously you would take the No 1 pick, no questions asked as it gives the choice of who you want without having to rely on what other clubs do with theirs.
But having the No 2 pick could be a blessing disguise, given that we are pinning our future hopes on youth.

Correct PRR. Having said that, it's what we do with them that counts. If we draft another Meyer or JON with picks 18 and 20 then it all cancels itself out. Huge November coming up for our club. We simply must get this one right.

Correct. With guys like Cotchin and Palmer there, i woulldnt be to concerned at all.
The top 3 players in the draft usually end up been guns. Kruezer, Cotchin or Palmer would be ideal for us atm.
If we dont get the #1 pick and Kruezer goes to Carlton then big deal. Im sure there's gonna be a pretty good ruckman available for us with our 2nd pick.

out of the players named number 1 id prefer nearlly all of them by a long way to number 2

id prefer gibbs to gumbleton (have only seen him play 2nds obviously will take a few years as all big blokes do)
id prefer murphy to thomas (by a mile)
id prefer deledio to roughead (by a mile)
id prefer conney to walker (just)
id prefer wells to goddard though thats 1 example in 5 years
