If I were to guess the reason why we are currently 15th in conceding points from clearances,a stab in the dark is that half of those games we had a statue masquerading as a ruckman,having said that even X has not been great in winning hitouts,the real value of X is around the ground at stoppages,unless we can fast track goad or recruit a 7ft ruckman to compete in the centre square we will not improve significantly in that area.FWIW i do not like risking my favorite player in the centre bounce,permanent forward only.
